It's convincing. If you're using your brain. Something impossible if you're a client of places like Vancouver's unique, worshipped-by-the-loony-left, "Insite".
In short, the taxpayers are funding a program to help junkies die a slower death.
You know, the objective should be to get people off drugs, not provide them for free so they can keep on doing them until they die. "Safe" injection sites don't get people off drugs. They say to the junkies, "It's ok to do drugs. In fact, here's some for free. Thank you for coming; come back soon!" It's not a solution to a problem at all, but don't tell the Leftists- they don't want to think about it in terms of solutions to problems; they think in terms of, "This is ok; that's ok; we should all pay for whatever we consider ok, just because we consider it ok... and, no, my son, you can't do drugs, too, because they'll ruin you and kill you and only total losers do that crap... and if you do, you're in BIG trouble, pal! Now come on, help me make this pro-Insite picket sign and shut the hell up! Don't think for yourself! Russia? Who cares if Russia invaded Georgia???? Shut up! Think as you're told! Do as you're told! You know, Leftists would rather demonstrate to keep the taxpayer-funded shoot-up shacks than demonstrate to condemn Russia's invasion, genocide and occupation in Georgia (where's these anti-war demonstrations???) despite having a tendency to demonstrate against their own countries if they go to war to stop countries like Russia from acting like that. It's as if Leftists are ALL on drugs...
Next thing you know, the Left will demand taxpayer funded whorehouses for sex addicts for the purpose of "reducing harm". Oh, yes. Not too long ago, like the idea of taxpayer funded whorehouses right now, Insite would've been seen as a "never happen... what are you, crazy?"
