Apparently the monster would potentially go free after just ten years, if convicted. See, another problem with the Canadian justice system, so weak and ineffective as it is, so little return for the massive amounts of our tax dollars it sucks up! Where's the protection of public safety?
(Are the Liberal Senators listening? Would they maintain the status quo of which I write, just to be ultra-partisan Liberal extremists and block Conservative legislation to reform the justice system to keep terrible criminals like this beheader-cannibal behind bars forever, thus protecting Canadians from this ultra-extraordinarily dangerous individual? I mean, the guy's no different from a terrorist who goes around beheading people!)
He could also be deemed "not criminally responsible due to insanity" and one day be, mandatorily or by ultra-far-left-wing state apparatchiks who are too stupid to know what they're doing, freed. And who knows, he'll sooner or later snap again, if he has no power over his horrendously dangerous orientation.
