Martin Promises Great Lakes Cleanup? Never Happen.

So Liberal leader Paul Martin is promising a billion of our tax dollars spread out over ten years to "clean up the Great Lakes"? Hmm... think about that... can a hundred million bucks a year actually clean up all the accumulated (and continuing) pollution of the Great Lakes? Does Paulie even have an inlking as to how it would be done (if it could)? Those bodies of water are, after all, massive and landlocked (no tides to carry pollutants out to the ocean, etc.), so that would be a monumental undertaking, similar to Paulie's promise to greatly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, which he actually increased.

Further, the fact is that his former business (now in the hands of family), Canada Steamship Lines, has been deliberately polluting the Great Lakes for years.

Think about all of this. Do you think it's possible, considering all the dithering for which Paulie's so infamous and the gross incompetence and wastefulness for which his regime's always responsible, to clean the massive Great Lakes of pollutants with a billion bucks spread out over ten years? I personally don't see it happening. It's, after all, a Liberal election promise, which we all know is worth absolutely nothing.

If Paulie can't cleanse the government of its extremely ingrained culture of entitlement and corruption, could he ever be believed in his claim that he'll clean up the Great Lakes? Hell, no!
