Interesting. She doesn't say, "I did not have sexual relations with that man... Mr. Domi". Why? The reasonable person realizes that she can see the folly of such denial, owing to what happened with her other "friend", Bill Clinton, who lied when he denied. Obviously there was some naughtiness going on between Bel and Tie, otherwise they'd both deny it all."I'm not going to comment at this point in time whether it's true, it's false or it's just the opinions of others," Stronach said. "I'm not prepared to talk about my personal life at this moment."
Belinda also claims that if she was a guy, the whole thing wouldn't be made a big deal out of. She claims a "double standard".
Bullshit.
A male politician who commits adultery with a married woman and causes a divorce- she's telling us that it wouldn't be all over the news? That folks wouldn't find it the least bit interesting, despite the fact that he's an elected public official? Yeah, suuuure.
Heeere's Belinda. Trying to weasel and squirm her way out of unethical, immoral conduct which contributed to a divorce... by saying, "hey, I'm a chick... gimme a break!"
Yep, as long as one is a girl, one can do whatever one wants and no one has any right to think anything negative about any personal misconduct on her part at all... and anyone who believes Belinda was wrong to have done such a thing, if indeed she did (looks that way- she doesn't deny it), is therefore a male chauvinist pig or a bigot or a mean-spirited, vindictive something...
Lookit, Belinda, you've been a bad girl. If I was a bad boy, there'd be consequences. Therefore there should be consequences for you, too. And as a politician, you're going to have to put up with the crap you're going to take just like anyone else would, like your good buddy Slick Willy!
I also won't let her off the hook for being a leftist. No longer is it ok to misbehave using one's gonads! Leftists cannot be allowed to make it so that one can go around just fooling around with anyone, anywhere, anytime... else, next thing we know some judge will strike down the age-of-consent law and children everywhere will be victimized by immoral adults. And that'd be a terrible, deleterious thing for society. (Slippery slope, remember? All the pro-gay rulings in the Nineties- it was warned that they'd lead to gay marriage. The left ridiculed such warnings. And then the left forced gay marriage into law. Now it looks like polygamy is the next step...)
Don't think of it on only a case-by-case, individual basis. If folks are going around behaving like Bel and Tie and wrecking Tie's marriage (does he have kids? if so, they'll be hurt, too), then society as a whole will suffer. And it'll just keep getting worse, owing to a general breakdown of morals, norms, discipline, etc...
We should be taking a broad perspective on this stuff. Belinda and Tie are part of a larger problem in society and we cannot just say, "ah, who cares? It's private stuff anyway". But "private" stuff can affect the whole as more and more folks see that it's ok to do that kind of wrong "private" stuff.
And more and more folks will be hurt as a result of such a cavalier attitude towards infidelity in relationships. Especially children!
(Not that the left understands, or cares, about this anyway. That's why they cannot be allowed to be in charge. It's like handing out matches in a kindergarten when putting leftists in charge of society.)
If Tie likes Belinda and not his wife, then he should've gotten a divorce before screwing the bimbo!
