Clinton NSA Berger Stole, Destroyed Terrorism Docs

This is the first I've learned of this. Apparently the Clinton-loving-and-protecting MSM hasn't been making a big deal out of this, though it happened a couple of years ago.

Story here. (Bob Parks- New Media Journal)

(Excerpts- emphasis mine):

The way I understand it, there’s one sequence where the CIA and the Afghanistan Northern Alliance surround bin Laden’s house in Afghanistan. They need final approval from the Clinton administration in order to capture him.

They called Washington. They called the White House. Clinton and his senior staff refuse to give authorization for the capture of bin Laden because they’re afraid of political fallout should the mission go wrong. Sandy Burger reportedly tells the CIA team in Afghanistan if they want to capture bin Laden, they’re on their own. If they go in, the administration’s not sanctioning or approving the ” The team abandons the mission, and not long after that, that bin Laden and Al-Qaeda bomb the US embassies in Tanzania and Kenya, killing over 225 men, women, and children and also wounded over 4,000.

Unfortunately, we’ll never know what really happened until we find out what documents were “inadvertently” destroyed by Berger. Berger says it never happened. Retired Air Force Lt. Col. Robert “Buzz” Patterson disagrees…

“I was there with Clinton and Berger and watched the missed opportunities occur. Berger was very agitated, he couldn’t get a decision from the president.”

(End Excerpts... read the whole thing!)

Looks like Berger was covering for his former boss the President, for his appalling lack of caring and indecisiveness. Clinton had the opportunity to order that Osama Bin Laden be captured, just like that... and declined to give the order.

So... draw your own conclusions. If indeed Clinton refused to give the order to capture/kill Bin Laden, then 9/11 may not have happened at all.

Let the left put that in its collective hashpipe and smoke it.

At least George Bush, notwithstanding whatever faults he has (who's perfect?), is doing far more to fight the enemy than Clinton ever did. Of course, more needs to be done and I hope it will be. Unfortunately, politics dictates that there'll have to be another major attack inside the United States before it'll be politically possible to get even tougher with respect to national security and proactively defeating the enemy than today.
