Employment Up Under Harper's Tories

Time for some good news!

Story here.

OTTAWA (CP) - The jobless rate slipped to 6.2 per cent in October, from 6.4 per cent in September, with big employment gains in Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Of course it's best in the West! Those with the strongest can-do attitude will do!

I see that the unemployment rate for men is higher than that for women. Interesting. Does this, to use liberal-left-feminazi illogic, amount to concrete, irrefutable proof of systematic discrimination against men in employment? Does this mean that we need to start some kind of "affirmative action" thing for hiring more men? Or does it simply mean that we no longer need "affirmative action" for women, seeing as they're now better-employed than are men? Hmm...

Still the worst jobless figures are observed in the Atlantic Region. Apparently the region still hasn't taken the necessary steps to put itself on the road to prosperity... still hasn't learned/figured out what is its real problem and what are the real solutions... however difficult, particularly politically!

Nevertheless, overall, the employment picture in Canada is looking better under the Harper Conservative government. They're doing the right things, apparently. Good job so far. I want to see them continue. Let's give them a majority so they can do even better, without the bad-attitude liberal-left Opposition to stand in the way of real progress for Canada and Canadians!
