"This is the only country in the world where they (moderate Muslims) can march in the streets, where they can demonstrate and speak out without being intimidated by radicals. I can understand why they cannot do it in places like Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Libya, Syria and Lebanon," Gabriel said. "But there is no excuse why Muslims in the U.S. cannot take to the streets and rally and send a message to the radicals in the Middle East."
That message from American-Muslims, Garbriel continued, should include an unambiguous proclamation of patriotism. "Where are their voices?" Gabriel asked audience members. "They should say we are Americans first, if you kill one of us, you kill all of us."
Gabriel said she could identify only one American-Muslim who has tried to organize the demonstrations she believes are necessary. Gabriel said Kamal Nawash, president of the Free Muslims Coalition, was opposed by other Muslim organizations when he sought support for organizing anti-terrorism rallies in Washington D.C., last year.
Those Muslims who reject extremism, but choose to remain silent are repeating some of the worst mistakes in history, Gabriel told listeners. She also said Americans must "wake up" and come to terms with the "barbaric" nature of the enemy they face before "Islamo-fascism" can be defeated.

"They were free to demonstrate in our country in support of Hizballah and against the United States of America," she said. "Yet, we haven't seen this same passion come out of moderates to defend America."
That's true.
What is this fact telling us? If there are all these non-fundamentalist, non-violent, non-supremacist, non-intolerant, non-enemy-of-freedom Muslims all over the place, why do we see and hear so astonishingly little from them compared to all the Islamofascists we see and hear... in our streets... in our cities... in the Free World?
How do we KNOW that there's so many non-fascist, non-fundamentalist Muslims who want the Islamofascism to stop? Are we just supposed to have blind faith stemming from what we're told to be so but we don't really know is true? Is it just political correctness to say and believe that "most" Muslims are non-fundamentalist and non-fascist?
It is definitely up to these "good", "moderate" Muslims to stand up, march en masse regularly and loudly declare their allegiance to the Free World nations in which they live... and NOT to "Allah". They must unequivocally declare their complete, unequivocal opposition to Islamofascism, to jihad and to Sharia law.
None of this is happening.
Leftists think it's enough to drop a few links to a few "moderate" Muslim websites, but this isn't enough. These moderates must take to the streets by the thousands over and over and over again, covered fully and fairly by the MSM and must have police protection from the Islamofascists who don't want them to do this and can be expected to use violence to try to intimidate and silence these people exercising their civil rights.
When are the forces of freedom, democracy and the rule of law within the Islamic World going to rise up and ROAR in total opposition to the Islamic fascists/jihadists?
I'm waiting. And I'm not alone by any means. Not by a long shot.
The longer we have to wait, the worse the situation is going to get, unfortunately. The jihadists will see to it. And "moderate" Muslims so far are doing pretty much nothing, indubitably far, far less than they need to do. As the problems are emanating from the source, Islam, they, being Muslims, are responsible.
Islam needs to be cleansed of all the hatred and the jihadism. Is it, however, even possible? If it is, only insiders can do it. And if they won't, then the Free World, which Islam's fundamentalists are attacking all the time, will have to rise up once again, as it did in World War II, to crush its enemy.
History tells us this. Defeat your enemy or your enemy will defeat you.
