Liberal McKenna Supports Missile Defence System

Former Liberal New Brunswick premier and Ambassador to the United States Frank McKenna is urging the Liberal Party of Canada, which staunchly opposes any form of self-defence against enemy missiles, to reconsider its opposition to ballistic missile defence.

Story here.

You know, if Prime Minister Harper were to announce Canada's participation in a BMD system, he'd be incessantly slammed by the left and the MSM.

But so far the left and the MSM aren't at all critical of McKenna.

So far, anyway, as I can find.

So if McKenna doesn't get slammed by the left/MSM for his support of Canada defending herself against enemy ICBMs, then the left/MSM cannot turn around in the future and slam the Conservatives of Harper should they announce that Canada will defend herself against all attacks, including ICBM-borne ones. Remember this. I will!

Of course, I want my country to defend herself against, for example, nuclear-armed ICBMs from, say, Iran, North Korea, China, Russia...

And, to the leftist trolls: don't bother. Your position is already known. No need to repeat it here. Your excuses for your position have already been heard and rejected. It's understood that you don't give a flying feck at a rolling doughnut if a nuke from overseas is to transform Ottawa to a pile of radioactive dust... you insane imbeciles!
