Gov't Finally Moves To Investigate, Review Fascist 'Human Rights' Commission

Take heart, my fellow freedom loving Canadians. The government has, indeed, been listening to your concerns about the liberal fascists who take away peoples' rights.

And they're now taking action.

Canadian freedom fighter Ezra Levant tells us about it.

The Conservative government has introduced a motion to Parliament's Justice Committee proposing an investigation into the abusive, corrupt practises of the Canadian Human Rights Commission. The motion specifically refers to public "concerns" about the CHRC's "investigative techniques" and their "interpretation and application" of the section 13 thought crimes provision.

The resolution, which you can read here in both official languages, was put forward by Rick Dykstra (pictured at left), the Conservative MP from St. Catherines, Ontario, with the knowledge and approval of the Justice Minister, Rob Nicholson. Here is an e-mail from Nicholson, sent to a voter just today, in which you can read his change of approach. An excerpt from Nicholson's letter:

I would like to inform you that my caucus colleague Mr. Rick Dykstra has tabled a motion that the House of Commons Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights examine and make recommendations with respect to the CHRC, including its mandate, operations, and interpretation and application of provisions relating to section 13 of the CHRA, which addresses hate messages. I look forward to that review.

Jason Kenney, the Secretary of State for Multiculturalism, was also instrumental in getting this issue onto the government's agenda.

The government's proposed inquiry comes on top of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada's announcement last month that she is investigating the corrupt and abusive conduct of the Canadian Human Rights Commission. And earlier this month, Ottawa police referred a criminal complaint about the CHRC to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, who are now conducting a criminal investigation.

Canada is becoming a country that, bit by bit, will less and less tolerate intolerance, particularly in the bureaucratic, "arms-length", leftist-dominated state apparatus. After all, the state apparatus has spun out of control, hijacked by the fascist forces of far-left darkness.

The wheels of reform are in motion as we speak.

This is why we must ensure that the Left doesn't come back to power. If the Left were to win an election again soon, the wheels would be brought to a halt and reversed, restoring and quickly worsening the Stalinist regime which has been and continues to oppress and tyrannize Canadians for (inconveniently for the Left) exercising and enjoying their human rights.

We will not rest until this hateful far-left monster is slain.

Liberals Hypocritical, Sexist: Asper

Commentary here.

David Asper tells it very well about the Liberals, who throw dung because they've got nothing else going for them.

Scouts Fight For Rights

Story here.

Imagine if, instead of giving the ultimatum to the Boy Scouts, they gave it to, say, a large Islamic organization.

Imagine if Philadelphia gave the Islamic organization an ultimatum to the effect that they had to allow "gays" and atheists to belong to their organization. You can't, can you? They wouldn't dare, not for Islamists, as they know the consequences of offending that group.

What if the "gay" militant group EGALE were told that they had to accept religious minorities who were staunchly opposed to homosexuality for religious reasons? Like hell this would happen.

No consequences for offending the Scouts? Well, it appears that the Scouts are going to be fighting back.

I hope the judge they face isn't a far-left activist. Left-wing-activist judges are never fair nor do they just stick to their job; they always favor certain groups over others, regardless of the letter of the law and even regardless of the Constitution as written and intended.

What if I were to one day start an organization that celebrates and honors the Knights of the Crusades? What if one day a bunch of Islamic supremacist-imperialists were to get some government to tell my organization that it must allow membership by hateful Islamofascists or else lose our headquarters? Well, I'd be pretty mad over that and wouldn't submit. I'd start a crusade against my attackers in court, too! Like hell they'll get away with trying to plunder and pillage my organization's rights!

Equal rights for all is the only acceptable situation. Rights for some but not for others is an unacceptable situation.

The Audacious Delusion of a Dope

Much has been reported and said about Barack Obama's wish to sit down and talk to Iranian Islamofascist tyrant Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Well, have you read this rather excellent piece about that?

Liberals think the way to deal with dangerous tyrants is to send in a sensitive president who will make Ahmadinejad fall in love with him. They imagine Obama becoming Ahmadinejad's psychotherapist, like Barbra Streisand in "The Prince of Tides."

President Bush described such people perfectly with his reference to Sen. William Edgar Borah, the one who said World War II could have been avoided if only he could have talked to Hitler.

Liberals refuse to learn from history because they put their hands over their ears and tell themselves over and over again: "Hitler was different."

But the evilness he possessed was no different from the evilness possessed today by the likes of Ahmadinejad. Evil is evil. This is what liberals must come to realize. Before it's too late.

How much evil must be wrought, and for how long, with how many innocents tortured and murdered, before liberals/progressives will finally say, "Enough is enough. It's time to tell this guy to stop killing/not start to kill innocents or else we'll come and kill him so he can't kill anyone else anymore."? In other words, at what point does morality and the understanding of the difference between right and wrong kick in for liberals? If ever?

Don't expect this to happen unless Ahmadinejad attacks, say, Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea or China, to name but four socialist paradises liberals would be loathe to see anyone attack. After all, as I understand history, liberals during WWII were opposed to getting involved in beating back the Nazis until the Nazis dared to attack the socialist paradise of the Soviet Union. Yep. Ok to invade all of Europe, but they'll be damned if they let the terrible Nazis take away socialism from the Soviet Union!

Looks like the liberals are performing an historical (one could also say "hysterical") encore.

But they could at least send the following message to all tyrants:

Don't do anything stupid, you tyrants, or else we'll come over there. And it won't be to talk.

Obama Sees Dead People

Oh, isn't he special?

“On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience here today — our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.”

If Bush had said that, the Left would say he's stupid and crazy and shouldn't be President. So how come they're not calling Obama stupid and crazy and saying he shouldn't be President?

Of course, embarrassed with Barack's bizarre brainfart, his people edited his utterance to eradicate the evidence that he's prone to saying stupid things. Can't have people thinking twice about him. Gotta get him into the White House to impose whatever hidden radically extreme agenda for "change" they have...

Iran Sparks Islamic Nuclear Arms Race

Story here.

LONDON -- Agents with Britain's MI6 intelligence agency who are based in the Middle East have established that 13 countries in the region have drawn up new plans -- or reviewed previous ones -- to build nuclear stations following in the path of Iran's push for an enriched uranium program capable of producing nuclear weapons, according to a report in Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin.

Maybe they'll end up wiping each other out. Who knows?

Germany Gives Award To Nazi Doctor

I've been saying for some time now that Germany hasn't learned the lessons of the past and appears to be repeating it in some ways. I've already blogged on this site about how the German state continues to use its gestapo powers to enforce Hitler's very own law banning homeschooling, leading to the persecution of Christian families who want to homeschool so as to avoid having their children being indoctrinated in, for example, bizarre, far-left-approved dogmatic sexual nonsense, which is against their religion. Many Christian families have been forced to flee Germany already to go to countries that respect their human rights.

Now we have the German state apparatus giving an award to a Nazi doctor. This is just incredible. I cannot believe they'd honor a Nazi butcher.
Dr. Hans-Joachim Sewering was honoured for having "performed unequalled services in the cause of freedom of the practice and the independence of the medical profession, and to the nation's health system," the German Federation of Internal Medicine said in a statement.

Since 1978, Der Spiegel has published documents claiming that Sewering, while a doctor at a tuberculosis clinic near Munich, sent a 14-year-old girl to die at a euthanasia centre carrying out secret Nazi policies to murder
members of society especially weak of body or mind.

The U.S. Anti-Defamation
League claims Sewering sent a total of 900 children to their death at a euthanasia centre. Sewering has admitted to membership in the SS, an elite Nazi formation, but has always denied being responsible for euthansia.

This is a highly inappropriate choice. No Nazi war criminal should be awarded anything other than, perhaps, a noose. Worn firmly around the neck.

Something is clearly still wrong in Germany.

Carbon Tax Bad For Poor: NDP Leader

Who cares about the poor? Liberal 'leader' Stephane Dion would impose a carbon tax that would literally have poor Canadians freezing in the dark. His claim that he'd cut income taxes to balance the hardship brought by the carbon tax simply wouldn't help the poor, who pay little or no tax. Worse, he'd raise the GST, which would also hurt the poor, who have no choice but to pay it for things such as food, clothing, school supplies and other necissities.

"Let the poor freeze naked and starve in the dark"... is this the new Liberal philosophy of "caring and compassion"?

New Democrat leader Jack Layton is correct that a carbon tax, as proposed by Liberal 'leader' Stephane Dion, would be hurtful for the poor.

If you're poor, or if you care about the poor, don't vote Liberal. Don't vote Liberal anyway, as a carbon tax will hurt everyone... except a Liberal government, who would haul in our money hand over fist...

Apparently Liberals must hate poor people. Apparently Liberals want to take as much away from everyone that they can, no matter how little we may have to surrender.

Liberal Leader Dion Less Popular Than Bush?

Liberal "leader" Stephane Dion, above, reacts to the news that only one in ten Canadians think he's any good as a politician.

Surely, even US President Bush must have an approval rating above the measly ten percent being suffered by the hapless (or should I say "hopeless"?) Liberal "leader" Stephane Dion!

Not since former Liberal leader John Turner bottomed out with a 14 per cent approval rating shortly after losing the 1988 election have things been so bad for the head of Canada's most successful political party. Just 10 per cent of those surveyed stand behind Dion's leadership, the poll shows, compared to 32 per cent for Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

What's worse is that the number of people who said they were unsure about Dion's performance has dropped from 46 per cent at the end of last summer to 30 per cent this month, meaning that Canadians are making up their minds about a leader who has had difficulties rallying his party behind him as well as communicating his party's positions to potential voters.

I think that Stephane Dion, what with his terrible and sinking approval numbers and his bizarre, sure-to-be-soundly-rejected carbon tax policy will prove to be a perfect storm, battering the Liberals badly, all the way up to the next election, whenever it may be.

That said, I'm watching with a little smirk as the Liberals continue to allow this hopeless little dweeb to carry the white flag for them.

I note also with bemusement the left-leaning media types and pundits who apparently believe that the Liberal carbon tax policy will prove to be a popular proposal with Canadians. Geez... exactly how much "green" stuff have they been a-smokin'? Like feck Canadians want to pay even more than they already are for their energy needs! I'm reminded of Joe Clark's disaster of a gas-tax-hike proposal back in '79, which led to the return of Pierre Trudeau, who nevertheless raised gas taxes in addition to having devastated Western Canada's energy sector and economy with the hated-with-an-undying-passion-by-Westerners "National Energy Program", sparking an unprecedented separatist movement there that surged rather dangerously during the last Liberal regime.

Now that Newfoundland and Nova Scotia are energy-producing provinces and enjoying the financial benefits therefrom, I predict that these provinces will join with the western provinces in soundly rejecting the Liberal carbon tax policy. Like hell they'll willingly go back to have-not status... they need a carbon tax like they need a bullet in the head!

Sooner or later the Liberal Party's numbers will have to plummet as well. "Leader" Dion is becoming heavier and heavier ballast... too much ballast and the ship will either have to dump it or sink.

Sleep Loss Causes Brainfarts: Study

This makes me want to suggest to my leftist readers that they get more sleep. A good eight hours a night, every night. It just might make them better able to perceive and understand reality.

Being deprived of sleep even for one night makes the brain unstable and prone to sudden shutdowns akin to a power failure - brief lapses that hover between sleep and wakefulness, according to researchers.

Leftists do frequently exhibit such symptoms.

"It's as though it is both asleep and awake and they are switching between each other very rapidly," said David Dinges of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, whose study appears in the Journal of Neuroscience.

Ahah! Could this be the solution to the mystery of Leftist Mental Disorder? Are all those nights spent awake, drinking, getting stoned and screwing their brains out the cause of their irritating inability to properly perceive and to understand the real world?

Ok, well, maybe I was a little too nasty in singling out leftists here. Of course, the findings will apply to everyone, both leftist folks and normal folks.

So skip that night of boozing your brains out and get a good night's sleep instead. You'll feel a lot smarter and less moonbatty tomorrow!

Canadian Moonbats Exhibit Harper Derangement Syndrome

Above: If this image isn't highly inappropriate and deranged, then nothing is.

Disgusting, brain-scrambled moonbattery. h/t:

This would be a good suggestion for inclusion at

Access to Information documents released by the band's lawyer yesterday show the RCMP's Integrated National Security Enforcement Team took a look at the group last year as a result of the band's outspoken and politically active drummer, Jeffrey Monaghan.

Pictured below, brandishing a wooden stick and clenching his teeth, is the moonbat himself. (For some reason he reminds me of Warren Kinsella, another infamous moonbat)

Jeffrey Monaghan, the moonbat

Monaghan was alleged last spring to have leaked the environmental plan of the Conservative government, and was marched in handcuffs by the RCMP out of his contract job at Environment Canada.

"Subject is a self-described anarchist and drummer in a punk band that compares (Prime Minister Stephen) Harper to Hitler," says an RCMP report dated two days after Monaghan's May 9, 2007 arrest.

The band's MySpace page depicts a "9/11 type drawing showing an airplane crashing into the Parliament; there is also anti-Harper songs from the band," says an assistance request from the national security team to the Tech Crime unit.

Leftists might think that that Monaghan character is cool or something. But he's clearly a whacked-out supermodel of modern moonbattery.

Nice going, Jeff! You're a wonderful role model! Definitely someone after whom all children ought to take. NOT!

Public School Allowed To Teach Islam

...although it's against the law for public schools there to promote religion.

But when we're talking about Islam and Muslims, they always seem to be granted exceptions, unlike, for example, Christians.

Whither the ACLU on this? Don't they care that Muslims are specially, exclusively getting to violate the "separation of Mosque and state"?

Oh, and the radical Muslim American Society is involved in after-school activities there. They're said to be a front group for the dangerous Muslim Brotherhood, perhaps the root of much of the world's Islamic extremism and xenophobic hatred.

Apparently the academy is in violation of Minnesota state law by allowing Friday Muslim prayers on school grounds. This is in addition to the daily 5-minute prayers in the school between Monday and Thursday. The Friday Islamic prayer session lasts for a half-hour and results in the students not meeting state requirements for total time under classroom instruction. The Star Tribune report also points out that “Letting teachers participate, even though they don’t lead prayers, may give students the impression that the school endorses Islam.”

“The school does not provide busing for students immediately after classes, instead it waits until the end of after-school activities, which include a religious studies course run by the Muslim American Society that more than half the students take.”

Unacceptable. It's no different, nor any less dangerous, than having neo-Nazis run white supremacism courses at a school.

'Human Rights' Commission Under Criminal Investigation By RCMP

Good. Because it's a crime against Humanity, a crime against Canada and against the Canadian People to violate the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms to take away peoples' rights, particularly while breaking laws in so doing.

Story here. ht:

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have begun an investigation into alleged criminal conduct by members of the Canadian Human Rights Commission.

The conduct in question was revealed at an extraordinary hearing on March 25th, a hearing the CHRC desperately tried to keep closed to the press.

An officer of Bell Canada, appearing under a subpoena, testified that the CHRC had hacked into a private citizen's Internet account, to cover their electronic tracks as they surfed anti-Semitic websites under the alias "Jadewarr". You can read the transcript of the hearing here -- a transcript the CHRC did not release to the public.

The victim of the CHRC's illegal hacking, Nelly Hechme, told reporters that she was "completely shocked" by the CHRC's conduct. Canada's Privacy Commissioner, who has jurisdiction over the CHRC, is now investigating the matter.

Read all about it for yourself and discover just how far the Liberal Fascists of so-called "Human Rights" Commissions will go to take away our rights and ruin our lives in the name of extreme left-wing political correctness fascism.

Let's abolish all "human rights" commissions. They're all the same, after all. Do we want hateful fascists being paid from out of our pockets to take away our Charter rights? NO!

UPDATE: Ezra Levant discussed this on CTV NewsNet's Mike Duffy Live (with some quite strong words being said about Richard Warman). The story, according to Duffy, will also be given full coverage tonight on the national CTV News (10 PM Eastern).

Pity it takes an actual criminal investigation for the MSM to finally start reporting properly about the CHRC. Why don't they also tell Canadians that the "human rights" commissions are actually taking peoples' rights away instead of upholding them? Why? Surely taking peoples' rights away is a crime, or ought to be. Or is it a political thing? Ah, that's it... it's a political thing, this taking away of peoples' rights in order to convict them without a fair trial, without evidence, etc, etc, with each and every one of the accused being convicted without exception, at least the non-politically-correct/non-leftist accused, that is. Hmm... the more word gets out that leftists are ok with taking away the rights of those who disagree with their radically extreme, fascist "progressive" agenda, the more the Canadian People will see the left as dangerously hateful and requiring marginalization, pretty much as are the imaginary "neo-Nazis" the ultra-far-left-wing HR apparatchiks pursue (while totally ignoring all hateful Islamic fascists, for example, amongst other hateful folks the left refuses to deem hateful, whilst hunting for and breaking laws to try to entrap just one specific identifiable group of alleged "haters" [namely heterosexual, "white", non-Muslim people], be they real "haters" or falsely accused by the leftofascists for ideological-political-agenda reasons). In short, the left is racist, and the "human rights" commissions do appear to be racist as well and appear to be imposing their racism and other kinds of intolerance upon whomever they dislike.

Leftists and the HR apparatchiks believe that certain identifiable groups are capable (and guilty, if they want to deem them so for any reason whatsoever, real or fabricated) of being "hateful" while others are not. This is discriminatory and hateful in and of itself!

And they are now under criminal investigation.

Whatever happened to their mandate of simply hearing and mediating complaints of alleged discrimination in employment and housing? What made them turn into fascists and haters themselves? How did this happen?

Mexico Falling Into Clutches of Drug Lords?

Canadians know something about how dangerous and lawless Mexico is becoming. We've read the reports, including reports involving Canadians being murdered in Mexico, including one recent fatal shooting of a Canadian tourist.

Now we're reading about this.

CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico (AP) — Drug cartels are sending a brutal message to police and soldiers in cities across Mexico: Join us or die.

The threat appears in recruiting banners hung across roadsides and in publicly posted death lists. Cops get warnings over their two-way radios. At least four high-ranking police officials were gunned down this month, including Mexico's acting federal police chief.

Mexico has battled for years to clean up its security forces and win them the public's respect. But Mexicans generally assume police and even soldiers are corrupt until proven otherwise, and the honest ones lack resources, training and the assurance that their colleagues are watching their backs. Here, the taboo on cop-killing familiar to Americans seems hardly to apply.

Police who take on the cartels feel isolated and vulnerable when they become targets, as did 22 commanders in Ciudad Juarez when drug traffickers named them on a handwritten death list left at a monument to fallen police this year. It was addressed to "those who still don't believe" in the power of the cartels.

Ugh. It's as if the Drug Lords are becoming the Mexican Taliban or something like that.

Clearly, we must oppose any move towards a North American Union. Canada and America don't need nor want Mexico's problems, don't want to become responsible for them. Mexico must take care of her own problems. And the Mexican government must stop encouraging Mexican citizens to illegally migrate northwards, as if the state has given up on herself and her own people.

Clearly, things are even worse in Mexico than in the rest of North America. Much worse, it would seem!

And it only seems to be getting worse.

Taliban Now Blowing Up Kids To Attack Coalition Forces

The monstrous hatefulness and evilness of the Taliban cannot be exaggerated or overemphasized.

Story here.

It was the utter cruelty of the attack Friday that wounded two Canadians and took life of an Afghan soldier on patrol in Zhari district that has made if even the most weather-beaten, battle-hardended faces blanche.

Afghan police initially placed his age at between 10 and 12 years, but over the weekend one official in the troubled district said the child may have been 13-years-old.

What investigators were trying to determine as they sifted through the evidence over the weekend was if the boy's bomb vest was remotely activated by a militant somewhere nearby, timed to go off - or whether the child flipped the switch himself.

There was speculation that since the child approached the troops with his hands raised, the timing of the attack was not up to him.

"To recruit children is pure and utter cowardice."

This is the Taliban. These are the folks that Leftists think we should "sit down and talk to".

No. First the Taliban surrenders unconditionally and then we'll talk to them. Otherwise...

I mean, what good would it have done to sit down and talk to the Nazis? Chamberlain had already proven that it's a waste of effort.

When it comes to those whose entire raison d'etre is to simply kill you, to try to sit down and talk is something that only happens in James Bond movies. What, do you expect to be offered a drink and pleasant, intelligent, sophisticated, cultured repartee prior to being tied up and dropped into a shark tank or being castrated by a big laser?

Speaking of sharks, you can't negotiate with sharks, either, although comparing Taliban to sharks isn't quite accurate. The Taliban is much worse. I'd rather take my chances with sharks, for I know that, despite being potentially deadly, at least they aren't evil, aren't hateful and don't want to kill you just because you're different.

Evil people are in a class by themselves. No animal other than man is quite so dangerous, for only man has the capacity to be evil.

Bin Laden Babbles On Again

The Big Lie of "Palestine"

That's right. There's no "Palestine", at least not as we've been told by the mainstream media, the Left and the Islamists.

The Palestinians claim that they are an ancient and indigenous people fails to stand up to historical scrutiny. Most Palestinian Arabs were newcomers to British Mandate Palestine. Until the 1967 Six-Day War made it expedient for Arabs to create a Palestinian peoplehood, local Arabs simply considered themselves part of the ‘great Arab nation’ or ‘southern Syrians.’

Like a mantra, Arabs repeatedly claim that the Palestinians are a native people. The concept of a ‘Stateless Palestinian people’ is not based on fact. It is a fabrication.

Most Arabs living west of the Jordan River in Israel, the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) and Gaza are newcomers who came from surrounding Arab lands after the turn of the 20th century because they were attracted to the relative economic prosperity brought about by the Zionist Movement and the British in the 1920s and 1930s.

This is substantiated by eyewitness reports of a deserted country – including 18th-century reports from the British archaeologist Thomas Shaw, French author and historian Count Constantine Volney (Travels through Syria and Egypt, 1798); the mid-19th-century writings of Alphonse de Lamartine (Recollections of the East, 1835); Mark Twain (Innocents Abroad, 1867); and reports from the British Consul in Jerusalem (1857) that were sent back to London.

Well, read it all for yourself.

Just some quick musings now:

You know, if one can claim that the Arab Muslims in the area sometimes referred to as "Palestine" are an "indigenous people", then one can also claim that "Canadians" are an indigenous people in Canada. The implication of this is the acceptance that there are no "First Nations", but rather one nation of "Canadians". Try to think about that. Hmmm... imagine that... me, an "indigenous" Canadian. Just because I was born here. But we have an ethnic group called "First Nations" who claim racial "first-here-ness" and who claim special preferences and exclusive rights and entitlements based on their being of that ethnic group. Is this right, to be so divisive on the basis of ethnicity? If it's to be deemed to be right, then one logically will also have to deem the Israeli Jews to have a stronger claim to "Palestine" than the alleged "Palestinian" Arab-Muslims do. But do we want to go there in either "Canada" or "Palestine"? Hmm... wouldn't it just be better if we accepted one nation, one people, rather than using ethnicity to determine rights and so on? Of course, that one nation would have to be Israel, for "Palestine" was actually originally Israel... And it's ok for it to still be a Jewish state. Better a tolerant, progressive, fair Jewish state than an intolerant, regressive, unfair Islamic fascist one, such as we've seen under the so-called "Palestinian Authority" (a terrorist organization in reality, not a government)...

Left-Wing Racist Groupthink

I agree with this article. Why? For just one real-world example of Left-wing racism, just watch the Democratic Presidential Nomination contest. The Democrats appear to be obsessed with race and appear to be quite fine with this obsession. Contrast it to the Republican campaign in which one would be hard-pressed to find any utterance that could've been construed as even remotely, subjectively "racist".

The big difference between Republicans and liberal Democrats is the way each party views people. Republicans see us as individuals and respect our God-given human dignity. To left-wing Democrats, we're not individuals; we're members of a herd with all the dignity of a cow or pig, dependent on its owner for daily rations of hay or slop.

Democrats see us as being white or as blacks or as straights or as gays, or as lesbians or as heterosexuals, or as rich or poor, or as Christians or as Jews or as Muslims, or as young or as old, as working or as retired, or as housewives or as career women.

Democrats see us as members of groups, each with specific goals often at odds or competing with the goals other groups. To them you have no existence except as being a small part of a bloc or several blocs. Instead of seeking to treat you as a person, they aim not to satisfy your individual needs and desires but only those of your group.

This division of people into groups, and groups into political blocs, is necessary because the powers that be want to negotiate with groups rather than with individual Americans, and with group leaders they choose rather than with leaders chosen by the members of the groups. And when federal dollars are doled out, they pass through the sticky hands of the groups' leaders

That sounds pretty much like the inconvenient truth to me. That's how the US Democratic Party operates, how it runs America when in power. Ditto the Liberal Party in Canada. So divisive, racist, sexist, etc... but then again, that's the essential nature of the Left.

Oh, and the point? Well, one may take it to be "Left-wing = Bad".

Stojko On Bloody Olympics: Athletes Should Think Twice

This guy gets it.

Will the athletes listen, or is personal glory and a medal more important for them than human rights? Will the athletes follow those who put the almighty buck above human rights?

TORONTO — Two-time Olympic silver medallist Elvis Stojko says Canadian athletes should “make a stand” for human rights and think twice about heading to the Beijing Summer Games.

Mr. Stojko, who captured the silver in men's figure-skating at the 1994 and 1998 Winter Olympics, says he would consider boycotting the Games if he was still competing.

Mr. Stojko made the comments during a Saturday afternoon rally outside the Ontario legislature, protesting China's human rights record.

Conservatives Did Nothing Wrong in Cadman Affair: RCMP

Nothing to investigate. Case closed. Move off already.

Now the Liberals are really going to be sweating and talking to their lawyers. They'll either break down, withdraw their malicious, false accusations against the Conservatives or end up being found liable for defamation in a court of law. The political optics and consequences, of course, will be deleterious for the Liberals either way, but worse in the case of the latter.

Story here. h/t:

More proof that the Liberals would rather spread malicious lies via something psychiatrists call "projection" than clean up their own backyard, create a whole new party from the grassroots up, including a whole new constitution and set of principles and policies vetted by ordinary party members rather than by corrupt elites, move on and actually proceed to offer a constructive alternative (if that were possible with a left-wing party, which it cannot possibly be) to the governing Conservatives.

The Liberals have nothing to use against the Conservatives, so they fabricate badness and accuse them thereof.

As it stands, the Liberals remain as bad as ever, dishonest, malicious, elitist, corrupt, entitlist and just plain radically left-wing extremist. Canadians don't want a government run by such folks.

Compared to the Liberals, the Conservatives are looking damn good, aren't they?

Canada's on the right track, notwithstanding the claims of the Liberals, the left in general and some organizations that claim that bad things are happening without pointing to any evidence that it's true, like a recession or impending recession... the real data tells a positive story, if one knows where to look for it, which is hardly in the mainstream media, which doesn't like to report good news when Conservatives are in power and which would rather sensationalize false and frightening predictions by supposedly credible (but now questionable) organizations...

Oh, and the bottom line one more time: The Conservatives didn't do anything wrong in the Cadman non-affair. The RCMP said so, and one cannot accuse the RCMP of being pro-Conservative, obviously.

Next thing you know, a court of law will overrule Elections Canada's claim that the Conservatives did something wrong even though all the other political parties do the very same thing all the time and aren't targeted by Elections Canada for it... and I hope there's hell to pay on the part of Elections Canada for their illegal "raid" on Conservative HQ.

From CBC To Al-Jazeera

Seems like a natural promotion, doesn't it?

He probably doesn't see anything wrong in working for Al-Jazeera.

Probably wouldn't have seen anything wrong in working for the English version of Nazi TV, if TV had existed a bit sooner...

What's next, Dan Rather will take over CCTV, the "Peoples'" TV in China?

Obama Utters Anti-Israel Slur

When it comes to Barack Obama, while he speaks masterfully and has a wonderful way with words, one must remember to read between the lines, for he frequently speaks in code with soothing tones...

-"...this constant wound...", "...this constant sore..."

Imagine if he had said such words about Islam. He'd have to apologize amid riots and calls to behead infidels and all that crap... The context, whatever one interprets it as being, wouldn't matter; the words matter. So they ought to matter if he uses such incendiary, unfair words with respect to Israel, whose fault the MidEast conflict it is not, for it's mostly the fault of the Islamic world and the KGB.

It's also unfair that he says that Israel building settlements (on Israeli land, mind y'all, for "Gaza" and the "West Bank" are legally Israeli land, and have been since 1967, when she won these territories fair and square in a war in which she was the victim of the first, unprovoked strike by certain Islamic countries in the region) is somehow the cause of the continuance of the MidEast conflict, which it isn't, for it's really the KGB's fault and the fault of the Islamist pawns thereof. After all, Israel allows Arabs/Muslims to build settlements on Israeli land, so why can't Israel allow Israeli Jews to build settlements on Israeli land as well?

What a moron.

John McCain will demonstrate this in a debate soon enough. At least one hopes he'll have the balls to tell it like it is and show the world what a bigoted Israelophobe Obama really is.

Unfortunately, far too many Democrats have been fooled by this silky-smooth sweet-talker. Then again, remember, the Demmies made slick old Bill Clinton President... and we know what happened then...

Islamic Fascist's Hate Crime Forces Disabled Teacher Out

Shocking story of intolerance and supremacism here.

A Muslim high school student's intolerance for a service dog needed by a student teacher with a disability has reportedly prompted the student teacher to abandon the last 10 hours of his scheduled assignment at Technical High School in St. Cloud, Minn.

I'd say it's time to impose "sensitivity training" on Muslims so that they don't violate the human rights of others, nor go around commiting hate crimes in the name of Islam.

If they don't like being told that they're not superior to non-Muslims, then too bad.

If they're from Islamic countries, then they have an option; if they don't like it in the country to which they moved, they can always return to the country they liked better. It's their right to choose: Either become tolerant or go home.

After all, here in the Free World, we have something called "human rights".

If anyone, including a Muslim, doesn't believe in human rights, then they ought to be treated as bigots and forced into "sensitivity" indoctrination and ordered to become tolerant regardless of their religious beliefs, just as are, for example, Christians.

No special exemptions from having to be tolerant, not even for Muslims. Everyone must be tolerant, must respect the human rights of others.

We must not abolish our human rights to appease Islamic fascists.

China Preparing For Nuclear War: MI6

Story here.

In an unusual development, the analysts have provided details to the specialist defense periodical, Jane's Intelligence Review, which published satellite images of the base location which is hidden beneath millions of tons of rock on the South China Sea island of Hainan.

The MI6 analysts have confirmed the submarine base hewn out of the rock will contain up to 20 of the latest C94 Jin-Class submarines, each capable of firing anti-satellite missiles and nuclear tipped rockets.

Knocking out the satellites would leave Taiwan, Japan and other countries around the Pacific Rim effectively without a key warning system. An attack also would disrupt vital communications between U.S. battle squadrons in the region and Washington.

Now we know why the Communists apparently ordered their fighter pilot to bump into that US spyplane back in 2001 and why they captured the plane and its crew... apparently to protect the secrecy of the strategic base...

The base is sited at Sanya on the southern tip of Hainan Island . The island came to the attention of Western intelligence in April 2001, when a U.S. EP-3 spy plane trying to test the island's electronic defenses was forced to land there by Chinese fighters, one of which crashed in the sea killing the pilot.

Defensive... or offensive? We don't know. And I recommend we take no chances. Ignore the Left's suicidal call to reduce military spending in the Free World... and do the opposite, for we must, absolutely, be prepared just in case...

The parallels with Hitler's Third Reich are unmissable. The massive, continuing, apparent preparation for full-scale world warfare, the genocide against the Falun Gong, the Olympics... and the international appeasement of these tyrants, in the futile hope that being nice to those Communist monsters will make them not want to try to take over the world by massively destructive force...

Is history repeating itself?

Leftist/Liberal Leadership Hopeful Bob Rae Makes Hypocritical Protest

Liberal Bob Rae, left, and his "leader" Stephane Dion, also leftist, embrace, perhaps to swap spit to honor their false god of left-wing hypocrisy

Really, Bob Rae doth protest too much.

(Do remember to read the article at that link so as to get the background)

You know, his people, New Democrats (he was the NDP Premier of Ontario who racked up the horrendous agenda of entitlism, rampant overspending, deficit, debt and rising taxes), Liberals and just plain radical leftists, are always saying stuff about the Conservatives like what Prime Minister Stephen Harper recently said about leftists, obviously including Liberals.

When the left makes veilled accusations of intolerance and of potential genocidalism against non-leftists, the left is proud of itself for "standing against those bad people and against badness", etc, but when the left is on the receiving end, when the shoe's on the other foot, when the tables are turned, the left acts as if it's beyond the pale to make such comments, and now we have Boob Ray playing the Big, Fat Hypocrite.

Basically, PM Harper reminded us all that there are still anti-Semites and anti-Israelis out there (obviously within and amongst the left) who have a barely-hidden agenda of intolerance towards the world's Jewry and towards Israel (just as do the Islamic supremacists/imperialists, who have historically shared their Jew-hatred with the Nazis and had actually fought on the same side, literally in the same army). He also reminded us that the anti-Semites would also target the rest of us who weren't onside with the anti-Semites' dangerous ideology.

Boob Ray wants to know who, exactly, the PM is talking about. But I suspect Boob Ray already knows and is in convenient, comfortable but delusional denial about it. Hell, everyone knows who the PM's talking about. Or they ought to, and ought to start paying attention to who the real bigots are, to who's onside with the likes of the Islamofascists, with the likes of Hezbollah, Hamas, Fatah, Ahmadinijad, the Neo-Nazis...

Dangnabit... Boob Ray is just like Warren Kinsella, finding phony images of intolerance on stall walls in boys' bathrooms and in other hoaxical forms rather than looking for it where it really is. I mean, these guys, both leftist Liberals, don't want to admit that some of their own people and that, yes, believe it or not, some folks who are different from them (Bob and Warren are self-loathing "honkies", obviously) ethnically can be and sometimes actually are "hateful", and in a very dangerous way.

Bob Rae needs to face the truth, which is that within his ideology and amongst his ideological brethren and within the Islamic world, both abroad and in Canada (and even inside the Liberal Party itself), there exists rabid, undying Jew-hatred and intolerance for anyone who dares oppose whatever his ideological kinfolk declare to be so.

Give your head a shake, Bobby, old boy. Get a clue. Get a grip. Wake up and smell the reality coffee. You know what and about whom the Prime Minister is talking about; stop suspending your disbelief already!

And, lest ye protest my lumping ye in with those folks, Booby, if ye don't wish to be considered as being of their ilk, don't be on the same side with them politically, then!

Oh, and the latest news pertaining to myself, I'm still busy as hell. I just took tenancy of a new apartment and have a helluva lot of work awaiting me to prepare to move in. Today I'll be cleaning and shining the hardwood floors (don't you just loooove hardwood floors?), which are a tiny bit dusty and dull, thanks to the previous tenant, who apparently didn't really appreciate their beauty. Of course, the downside of having a spacious apartment with hardwood floors is the time and effort required to keep 'em looking good, but, hey, one needs to exercise and maintain one's self-discipline and hard work, eh (I'm reminded of Mr. Myagi, who taught about "wax on, wax off", etc...)?

Canadian Healthcare Better For Dogs Than People

Bad for his health? No problem. He, in Canada, has much better healthcare than his human companion.

Read my article here.

Dion's Bizarrely Extreme, Radical Proposal

Liberal Stephane Dion: I'll screw around with your taxes and raise the price of fuel!

Canadians have not been demanding anything remotely resembling this bizarre Liberal idea.

Nevertheless, if the Liberals come to power, they'll impose this radically extreme scheme on Canadians in order to reward their radically extreme enviro-lunatic fringe-element supporters.

It's stupid. It won't do a bloody thing to help the environment.

And it hurts the poor whilst helping the rich. Yes... think about it. Who would pay higher fuel prices but not benefit from much, if any, tax reductions? The poor, that is... for they pay little or no tax. And the rich pay lots of tax, can afford to blow lots of money on fuel, and will reap massive tax cuts...

Yep. The Liberals really do, as they claim every day, care about the poor as opposed to the rich. Yep. Suuuuure.

Maybe the leftists ought to vote Conservative instead, for the Conservatives have been very, very good to the poor, compared to how the Liberals have treated, and propose to treat, the poor.

This enviro-lunacy thing is going to devastate folks at the lower end of the income scale if the Liberals come to power. Meanwhile, in Canada, no one can guarantee that, due to carbon taxation, fuel consumption will decline; ditto greenhouse gas emissions (fuel prices have already skyrocketed, with no corresponding decline in consumption, unless I'm missing further findings). In fact, elsewhere in the world, fuel consumption and ghg emissions will continue to skyrocket. And the Liberals will punish Canadians for the Axis of Evil's greedy, filthy, polluting behavior. Again we see the Liberals favoring the non-free world over the free world, and particularly Canada. Therefore the Liberals are un-Canadian, anti-Canadian...

But it's not just the poor who won't be impressed with the Liberals' latest stupid idea. Most Canadians aren't asking for such a radical tinkering with their taxes and will rightly suspect a potential shell game and broken promises. That's right, folks... the Liberals would probably just impose a massive, all-over-the-place, carbon tax whilst not cutting taxes in other areas. Or, if they do cut income taxes as they claim, then they'll counterbalance the cuts with their proposed hike in the GST.

What a dumb idea. Then again, we're talking about Liberals.

And, don't forget, what the likes of Al Gore and the wholly-discredited "United Nations" creature, the "IPCC", are selling us is not proven, is just a hypothesis, a belief, almost a religion... sounds like a cult hellbent on taking our money away, doesn't it?

Poor Get Richer Under Harper Conservatives: StatsCan

Story here.

The Left likes to accuse conservatives of causing the poor to get poorer, but now we know that they're wrong about that. In fact, under the Conservative government of Stephen Harper, Canada's poor actually got richer.

OTTAWA - The rich did not get richer in 2006, but the poor did, according to a Statistics Canada report yesterday.

Maybe the Liberals, NDP and Bloc ought to get some new accusatory talking points, seeing as the Conservatives made the poor, not the rich, richer. No longer can they accuse the Tories of "making the rich richer and the poor poorer".

Conservatism is better for the alleviation of poverty than is socialism, therefore. StatsCan data prove it. Not only are more people working, those on the lower end of the income scale are making more money as well. How can anyone oppose this? Only the Left would, as it's an inconvenient truth that just might take the wind out of their sails.

As a result of strong economic growth and gains in employment, pre-tax family income rose by 2.1% after inflation -- an increase for the third consecutive year, Statistics Canada said.

And thanks to increases in government transfers, aftertax incomes also rose by 2.1%.

So we have both economic growth and the government helping some people via transfers. See? We don't need more multibilliondollar social programs after all! Are you listening, Libs, Dippers and Blocqistes?

Well, read the whole thing and see how conservatism is making Canada and Canadians better off. Only a moron would oppose conservatism now and turn to socialism.

Those who vote for the socialist parties now have another compelling reason to vote Conservative instead.

Oh, and don't forget that there have been significant tax cuts for everyone under the Conservatives, too, so the improvement is actually even better than the above alone indicates.

Who in their right mind would vote for anyone other than the Conservatives now?

Canada Revenue Agency Spending Like Drunken Sailors

How dare they abuse our tax dollars like that?

OTTAWA–Your tax dollars at work: Canadians who just figured out how much of their hard-earned cash to send to Ottawa may be surprised to learn that more than $40,000 was spent on a new washroom in the office suite of the top taxman.

What? A special, exclusive bathroom just for the Supreme Overlord of the Tax Collectors! For $40,000!

Talk about the culture of entitlement! What, does he think he's too important to pee and poo and fart in the same places as his lowly underlings?

William Baker, commissioner of the federal revenue-collecting department, laid out between $40,000 and $45,000 on the project last year, according to documents obtained under access-to-information legislation.

And it's just the tip of the iceberg!

It's but one example of hefty spending by the people who oversee the collection of Canadians' taxes.

Read about it...

Must be a lot of Librano$$$ in the Canada Revenue Agency. I know there's some Dippers, at least...

And I know for a fact, having once worked there on a temporary contract, that nepotism in hiring is eye-openingly rampant and seen as perfectly normal at the Agency.

Ironically, I helped them save a lot of money by helping them eliminate tens of thousands of dollars per annum in wasteful spending in one Tax Services Office. Now I learn that they're wasting money on other stuff anyway!

What are we paying taxes for, really? Some kind of shell game?

Obama's New Pastor No Better Than Old One

Otis Moss

Story here.

Maybe Barack Obama ought to go to a different church.

Ugh. Just read it for yourself. Another paranoid, racist, anti-American nutcase.

Why is Obama still with that church? Does he agree with what the pastors say? Sure, he says he disagrees, but how do we know he's telling us the truth? After all, he's a politician... and, yeah, sure, politicians always tell us the truth, don't they, eh?

British Say "NO!" To "Green Tax"

The British People overwhelmingly reject "climate change" hatemongering and indicate that they don't want to pay for the enviro-lunatics' pet projects.

More than seven in 10 voters insist that they would not be willing to pay higher taxes in order to fund projects to combat climate change, according to a new poll.

The survey also reveals that most Britons believe "green" taxes on 4x4s, plastic bags and other consumer goods have been imposed to raise cash rather than change our behaviour, while two-thirds of Britons think the entire green agenda has been hijacked as a ploy to increase taxes.

Three in 10 (29 per cent) of all respondents would oppose any more legislation in support of green policies, while close to a third of citizens (31 per cent) believe that green taxes will have no discernible effect on the environment since people will still take long-haul flights regularly and drive carbon-heavy vehicles.

You know, the greenie-heads don't realize that there's significant resistance amongst the ordinary folk. They don't see the eventual political pushback coming.

Sorry, but we're not going to suffer just because some nutcases think we're destroying the planet and must stop living our lives and so on to stop this destruction.

Moonbat Spotlight: NDP's Pat Martin

Pat Martin, unhinged again

Story here. ht:
Funny, but I've been accused of the same silly nonsense by similar leftwing dummies in the blogosphere.
OTTAWA–The Conservative Party has been accused of fanning anti-Toronto sentiment by targeting NDP Leader Jack Layton in a controversial campaign that portrays him as an Ontario-centric politician who doesn't understand western Canada.
The literature includes a photo of Layton and the CN Tower in the background with the message that he is out of touch with the issues in provinces west of Ontario.
So? What's "hateful" about saying that someone's out of touch with an entire region of Canada? The Leftist Opposition always make that sort of accusation against the Conservatives, yet when the Conservatives do it, it's "hatemongering"? Oh, puh-leez! Telling it like it is isn't "hatemongering".
But the communistic NDP's Pat Martin has a major brainfart and actually says it is:
"Those leaflets are hate-mongering, plain and simple, towards Toronto, trying to vilify somebody because of where they come from. We don't circulate pamphlets with (Prime Minister) Stephen Harper next to an oil derrick or the Husky Tower as if that was a reason to hate a person," Martin said.
Oh, for heaven's sake, Patty, grow a brain. It's fair political commentary, dude, and everyone does it. In fact, your own people make unfair political commentary and don't get labelled "hateful".
Also, how can you tell whether someone actually feels that emotion? What makes you think you can tell? Really, you can't, unless you're a mind-reader or some kind of empath.
The pamphlet refers to Layton's so-called "... political bosses at the big special interest groups in Toronto and Ottawa."
Well, I agree with those pamphlets. They tell it like it is about the ultra-extreme left-winger, "Taliban Jack" Layton. He does pander to radically extreme special interests and doesn't understand nor care about the concerns and grievances of the ordinary Canadian, as far as I'm concerned. He certainly doesn't seem to give a damn what I think and what I need as a Canadian. He's all about currying favor with extremists on the Far Left and with Islamizers so as to win their votes, with a view to winning more seats in the next election so as to try to further radically leftify Canada for his zealous supporters. And, of course, his policies with respect to energy in general are anti-Western. And anti-Newfoundland and anti-Nova Scotia, as those provinces are also energy-rich. The "climate change" hatemongering Mr. Layton spews does nothing to help his image at all in such provinces, therefore the pamphlets, I believe they're correct.
Oh, and it is noted that the NDP has virtually no seats in Saskatchewan nor Alberta, both western oil-rich provinces. Wonder why?
And what's up with the Left's bizarre fetish for accusing people of "hatemongering" just for saying something different from what Leftists say? It's really, really stupid and speaks about the Left rather than about those they accuse of feeling that emotion.

Defence Minister Orders Soldiers: No Talks With Taliban

Story here. ht:

KANDAHAR, AFGHANISTAN -- Members of the Canadian military who have been encouraging low- and mid-level Taliban to talk with Afghan authorities were out of line, Defence Minister Peter MacKay said yesterday.

"They certainly don't speak for the government of Canada," MacKay said from Halifax. He repeated the Conservatives' hardline stand that Canada does not negotiate directly with terrorists.

The idea that Canadian soldiers would be working with Afghans to encourage militants in the war-ravaged province to lay down their weapons and talk has won high praise in Kandahar City. But MacKay said reconciliation isn't something that Canadians can make happen, saying it's an "initiative that must be led by" Afghans.

Just so that there's no confusion as to whether Canada has a policy of talking to the Taliban. Some have suggested that there is such a policy, but that was just some frontline commanders/soldiers going outside the scope of their mandate.

As far as I'm concerned, there shall be no talks with terrorists unless and until they surrender unconditionally. Fat chance with most of them, unfortunately. The Taliban are far too zealously, supremacistically hateful to make peace. But I do wish that they would miraclously see the light and abandon their hatred for those who aren't perfectly "Islamic". Can't hurt to wish for miracles, can it? It's ok to hope for the failure of the Devil, who clearly is behind the likes of the Taliban and what they do.

EC 'Raid' Seized Confidential Legal Docs: Tories

Story here. h/t:

The party said Thursday that 17 boxes of documents, five envelopes and seven computer hard drives contain privileged legal advice and material that's irrelevant to an Elections Canada probe.

Why would Elections Canada take all that? It seems that they just pushed their way in, with armed Mounties along for intimidation purposes, and just proceeded to confiscate whatever they wanted, which was pretty much everything in sight. Why? Is this acceptable in a country based on the rule of law? Is it acceptable for the state apparatus to barge in and take whatever they want, no matter what?

Did the warrant grant them the "right" to take anything and everything? Now, that would be something, wouldn't it? Imagine the precedent it'd set. At least then, the state apparatus would then be able to barge into anyplace and seize whatever it pleased from, say, suspected terrorist organizations or foreign spy entities. Now, that would be worth such incredible, absolute power on the part of the state apparatus! So... let's not just be fascists towards the Conservative Party; let's be fascists towards suspected terrorists, spies, organized crime gangs, you name it! Let there be no limits on state apparatus search and seizure! Let it be like in the Soviet Union, where no one had any rights and the state apparatus could do whatever it wanted!

Hope the sarcasm is evident. I mean, c'mon... think, think... something is very wrong here, obviously.

Last year they filed a lawsuit in the Federal Court of Canada challenging Elections Canada's interpretation of campaign law. Senior Tories, including Prime Minister Stephen Harper, have questioned the motives for last month's raid, suggesting the elections agency may have been trying to do an end-run around the Federal Court suit.

Suspicious. It does indeed appear that the state apparatus, which is predominantly leftist, is trying to intimidate and somehow unconstitutionally, illegally, unfairly treat the Conservatives. This is dangerous.

Clearly, the state apparatus has far too much power. Oh, it's ok to do whatever they want to the Conservatives based on nothing other than accusations, but imagine the uproar if they treated terrorists, spies and criminal gangs with such absolute fascism!

Conservatives Blow Away Liberals in Fundraising

See the figures for yourself here.

Even the communist "New Democrats" beat the pants off the "Liberals" in the first quarter of 2008.

The Conservatives hauled in nearly five million bucks from over 44,000 contributors whereas the Liberals couldn't even touch a million from amongst a mere 10,000 or so contributors.

Money talks.

What's the money saying? Whatever happened to the Liberals, once the mightiest money-attracting machine in Canada? Oh, that's right... no more big business, union and rich-people donations means practically nothing for the Liberals, as individual Canadians who would be stupid enough to give them any money are relatively few and far between.

No wonder the Liberals are hellbent on trying to paint the Conservatives as demons and banshees at every opportunity. It's the only thing the Liberals have going for them, this demonization. They can't make the case against the government (they actually keep on supporting the government even though they claim to oppose it, if one can suspend one's disbelief to accept such a bizarre pattern of Liberal behavior) and its policies/performance, so they try to say, "Hey, these guys are bad! Just trust us; never mind proof, never mind explanations; they're bad!"

Wonder how the Liberals would be able to conduct an election campaign without enough money? Oh, that's right: They simply can't, therefore they'll do anything to avoid facing the voters the hard way, so they support the Conservatives' excellent policies so as to avoid causing an election to be held.

Oh, well... at least the Liberals are pragmatic. When they need to be, anyway.
