America's Resolve How could they think that we could be destroyed
This nation brought together 's stronger now
We grieve for those now gone but we are buoyed
To move ahead, to them we've made this vow
To search for evil persons far away
Who sought to maim and kill democracy
And from this path we know we must not stray
To keep our country safe for you and me
We feel great pain and anger fills our heart
But we must keep our minds now clear and free
To follow courses that will be a part
Of plans to carry out across the sea
From ashes and destruction now widespread
We all resolve together we will stand
Against all forces which are evil led
We wish to live in peace in this great land.
