Notorious US Ninth Circuit Court Reverses Ressam Conviction

What the hell is the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco up to now? That court keeps on making the most insane leftist rulings of all... and just won't stop with its activism.

They've reversed one of Ahmed Ressam's convictions and turned the whole thing back to the lower court.

Remember Ressam? Millennium Bomber guy? Plotted to blow up LAX in the U.S. while abusing the Canadian immigration system with impunity. Caught at the border with a trunkful of explosives.

Why has the 9th done this?

Dang... I'm unable to open the link to the PDF document with the details of the court's decision...

Anyway, I just had to say something... this is a definite "WTF?!" thing as far as I'm concerned. What the hell is up with the 9th Circuit Court? What the hell is up with San Francisco, the home of that particular court? Why's the 9th doing this for Ressam? Do they want to have him go free somehow?

The 9th is the one court I keep reading about when I read about bizarre, extreme-leftwing court rulings. Why is this? What's so bloody special about the 9th? Has it been hijacked by leftwing extremist judges?

They keep on popping up whenever some insane, radical leftwing ruling has been made and reported on.

Just a few quick musings.... anyone got any input on this?
