Librano$ Beware: ADSCAM Still on Radar Screen

Don't forget... new Librano leader Stephane Dion was a senior minister in Cabinet throughout the whole scandal. He cannot politically, electorally be considered to be "Mr. Clean" by any stretch of the imagination. Sorry, Stevie-Boy, but in national leadership politics, you'll have to get used to folks like myself saying what needs to be said. So swallow your pride and take the crap, chap! Fair's fair... if it was a different party responsible for ADSCAM, you'd be bringing it up again and again in the media, never letting it go... well, we're not going to let it go until the stolen monies are accounted for and the perps, whoever they are, are brought to justice. So you and your cronies will have to remain under the clouds and put up with whatever they rain down onto you. Better hope they don't someday strike y'all with the lightning of justice...

Story here. h/t: National Newswatch

The Mounties are still looking for their man for all the money stolen and still missing under ADSCAM. They're not giving up, I'm sorry to advise the Liberal Party of Canada.

The shocking treatment recently suffered by ADSCAM witness and former Olympic gold medalist Myriam Bedard, on the basis of what I predict will turn out to be nonsense charges stemming from an asshat ex's desire to cause her some trouble (or perhaps help someone get even with her for her testimony?) has served to cause the whole scandal to glow brighter and hotter.

Now we have the Ottawa Sun telling us about an inquiry they've had from the RCMP seeking information for their investigation.

Here's a taste, just to remind everyone of the incredible, appalling culture of unlimited greedy exclusivist entitlement and criminal corruption that highlighted the entire Librano regime of Chretien, Martin and Dion from 1993 until their rightful defeat nearly a year ago:

Of specific interest to the Mounties was our investigative piece in 2004 that exposed an apparent shakedown of federal contractors in the 1990s, a fleecing operation run through one of the Liberal-friendly advertising companies at the centre of the Adscam fiasco.

Our report detailed how one communications consultant with a $200,000 Health Canada contract had been ordered by a senior federal official in Jean Chretien's government to invoice the feds through the Montreal ad company.

In turn, the ad firm extracted $50,000 from the consultant for doing nothing but passing along the bills to the Liberal government for payment.

What happened to all that easy money remains a mystery, and is presumably a focus of the RCMP probe.

Remember, anyone with any information on what happened, who did it, who knew of it but said nothing, who allowed it when they shouldn't have, etc, should contact the Royal Canadian Mounted Police with their information. It's the right thing to do, as doing so will send the message to criminals, including those who believe they have a right to be in government to exploit Canada for their own personal enrichment, that the Canadian people are not going to let them get away with it.
