Well, if they are, I sure hope these guys won't be appeased like other terrorists are being appeased.
We've been through this before. At least Trudeau, commie peacenik he may have been, had the balls to crack down on them.
But I fear that today, in Canada, as with the appeasement of the Aboriginal terrorists occupying Caledonia, the three levels of government might just let the FLQ, if reactivated, get away with whatever it may have planned. I fear that the worthless strategy of simply talking to the violent public enemies will be repeated.
I say that whatever kind of terrorism, by whomever, requires quick and effective police/military force to end it immediately.
If we respond to terrorists by talking to them and kissing their asses, then there'll be more and more terrorists in the future.
Let's not be stupid. Let's treat terrorists with the iron fist they're asking for. Otherwise, they'll take their iron fists to more and more innocent people.
The state's job is to protect the innocent, not those who harm them!
