The war isn't over. This is another battle front, but the war against Liberal Fascism continues.

At the request of the Prime Minister, the Minister of Justice has created a departmental committee to examine section 13 of the Canadian Human Rights Act. This is the section which bans hate messages distributed by the Internet. Members include lawyers from various branches of the department of Justice, including constitutional, human rights, criminal and Industry Canada branches.
Whether anyone at this table of worthies will dissent or have evolved from the leftist views with which they entered government in the 1970s is an important question.
Meanwhile, in the United States of Obamica, the opposite is happening, with the Democrats poised to impose an extremely-fascist "hate crimes" law upon Americans...
A federal "hate crimes" bill that officially is to enhance punishments for "violence motivated by bias that is a relic of slavery" but is feared by Christians as a potential bludgeon against basic biblical teachings has been returned to the congressional agenda by Democratic Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee of Texas.
The proposal had been stymied during the Bush administration by the president's threat of a veto but President-elect Barack Obama's own website has promised an expansion of federal "hate crimes" laws.

Many states already have "hate crimes" legislation. A couple running a photography studio in New Mexico has faced thousands of dollars in fines for their decision not to provide photography services to a pair of lesbians because of the Christian beliefs of the studio owners. In Pennsylvania, a 75-year-old grandmother was threatened with prison for advocating a biblical perspective of homosexuality.
The Obamanian Democrats would throw little old ladies in jail for exercising their Constitutionally-guaranteed rights? Is this an example of the kind of "change" B. Hussein Obama's hidden agenda has in store for America? Already, his first act in office is set to be to shut down Guantanamo Bay, releasing enemy Al Qaeda/Taliban/Islamofascist POWs to who knows where...
The Left's agenda on this so-called "hate crimes" legislation is legitimately criticized as really a Liberal-Fascist ploy to aggressively press Christians underneath the "Progressive" fascist thumb. And I concur, from what I've been seeing the state apparatus in America do with respect to discriminatory treatment/persecution of Christians for simply exercising their Constitutionally-guaranteed right to their religious beliefs and values and to practice them openly.
It's also legitimately seen, as the informed person realizes from observing American society and state-apparatus treatment of Christians vis-a-vis the militant homosexual agenda, as being motivated by a hidden agenda to more aggressively, unconstitutionally, fascistically, force, push and impose sexually-extreme ideologies upon America:
"The Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution guarantees equal protection under the law," he has said. "Hate crimes legislation is … [a] violation of the Fourteenth Amendment in that it elevates one class of citizen based upon their chosen sexual behaviors above other people."
