It's Been A While

Since I have been posting here.

But I recall what I have written over the years on this blog.

And note that much of what I said has been proven true.

Obama, his hidden agenda, his tyranny.

Vladimir Putin's Russia and its imperialist agenda, its forcible annexation of other nations' territories.  The Cold War being restarted by same.  Oh, and Obama doing nothing at all about it other than make himself scarce and let his minions issue strong words, backed up with "sanctions" at which Russia just laughs.

Iran getting nuclear weapons because Obama did nothing to stop them.

The Conservative government of Canada led by Stephen Harper proving that conservatism works, as Canada has easily shaken off the recession, added-back the jobs lost and then many more, and is now in a balanced-budget situation since January.  Canada is finally respected in the world.

And many more things... proven by reality, recently.

True Alarming Stats: Employment in US Continuously Evaporating At Dangerous Rate

Story here.

Did you know that the percentage of the U.S. labor force that is employed has continually been falling since 2006 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics?  Did you know that the increase in the number of Americans "not in the labor force" during Barack Obama's first four years in the White House was more than three times greater than the increase in the number of Americans "not in the labor force" during the entire decade of the 1980s?  The mainstream media would have us believe that 157,000 jobs were added to the U.S. economy in January.  Based on that news, the Dow broke the 14,000 barrier for the first time since October 2007.  But if you actually look at the "non-seasonally adjusted" numbers, the number of Americans with a job actually decreased by 1,446,000 between December and January.  But nowhere in the mainstream media did you hear that the U.S. economy lost more than 1.4 million jobs between December and January.  It is amazing the things that you can find out when you actually take the time to look at the hard numbers instead of just listening to the media spin.  Back in 2007, more than 146 million Americans were employed.  Today, only 141.6 million Americans are employed even though our population has grown steadily since then.  When the government and the media tell you that we are in a "recovery" and that unemployment is lower than it was a couple of years ago, I encourage you to dig deeper.  The truth is that even the government's own numbers tell us that the percentage of the U.S. labor force that is employed continues to fall and that the U.S. economy is heading into a recession.  The Obama administration and the media have been lying to you about unemployment and about the true condition of our economy.  After you see the numbers that I have compiled in this article, I think that you will agree with me.

Hard-Left-Wing, socialistic economic policies are continuously destroying the American economy and throwing people out of work en masse, and manipulative, selective number-picking by the media and the state apparatus can't fool the people for too long, because they know that things are worse in reality than they're being told... much, much worse, and steadily worsening.

What if I told you that there's been a steadily deepening depression in America for many years now, and you're being told the opposite?  Would you believe it's possible to actually fool millions and millions of people into thinking things are getting better rather than worse?

Isn't it amazing how the media can fool the masses so easily?

Such is, after all, what can happen when the masses depend on what they're TOLD in order to gather information about the world around them.  If they're being fed lies, how do they know, if they don't care to verify or debunk what they're being told?

Worse yet is the reality that many people never learned to think for themselves, to gather and analyze observable hard evidence independently so as to have a reliable view and understanding of reality.

It's funny in a terrible way that terminal rock bottom must first be perceptibly, undeniably hit before it becomes impossible to fool enough people anymore.

Lib Leader Desperate, Hypocritical, Demagogic

Don't vote for this scary, dangerous man, Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff, seen also below with his scary, dangerous, communist comrades Jack and Gilles...

By the way, see the guy on the far left, Jack Layton of the NDP?
I swear he looks just like Vladimir Lenin!

Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff has nothing to offer- no sound policies; just rhetoric and demagoguery.

He has already lost and is flailing about in vain.

It's pathetic.  What a way to go down, down, down, back to Harvard or perhaps some George Soros-funded organization for international socialism and one-world dictatorship-by-committee-of-amoral-billionaire-elites.

(...) you got to show up, you got to be real . . . you got to have a team.

Funny HE would point fingers and say that.  I understand that HE barely ever showed up in Parliament himself, choosing to prorogue himself about 70% of the time!

Sheesh.  Such hypocrisy!

He also demanded that voters subject Layton’s platform to the same scrutiny as other parties.

Funny- the old, "mainstream" media isn't scrutinizing HIS platform all that much.  Nor are they scrutinizing HIM much at all, for they're pretending he never honestly, openly, clearly expressed the ultra-extreme positions (pro-torture, pro-Iraq-war, pro-Bush, etc., etc.) he has in the past, and then flipflopped completely as Liberal leader.  They don't care that he's an opportunist who'll say anything for a shot at the Prime Ministership before leaving Canada again for whatever, wherever.

They ought also to be investigating the extent to which billionaire NWO extremist and openly-admitted-and-unrepentant Nazi Holocaust collaborator George Soros has his puppeteering hand upside Iggy's hiney.

He also claims:

“The country wants to get rid of this (Conservative) regime (...)

Oh, really?  Why on earth would Canadians want to get rid of the best government Canada has ever had, the government that has raised Canada above the rest of the Free World, finally?  The government that restored all the jobs lost during the recession and that is shrinking the deficit way faster than predicted?  It wouldn't make sense.  Besides, those who won't vote Conservative don't know feck-all about diddly in the first place and have been brainwashed by old-media, hard-left propaganda into supporting left-wing parties.  Sheesh.  Thank goodness for our first-past-the-post election system!

Besides, It would be more appropriate to say that three-quarters of Canadians want to keep the Ignatieff Liberals out of power!!!

Ignatieff says the NDP platform doesn’t add up because it involves $72 billion in new spending over four years without any way to reduce Ottawa’s $40 billion deficit. “It’ll end up in raising taxes and, in my view, it’s a bad plan for the Canadian economy.”

Funny... the same could be said about the Liberal platform!

“I’m attacking the Harper government because I believe profoundly that this regime is corrupt, is contemptuous of democracy and is incompetent economically,”

"Regime".  Ha.  Liberals themselves have always run a "regime", so this is rich coming from a Liberal.  "Corrupt".  Ha.  I recall, oh... the Liberals' infamous ADSCAM corruption and criminality from their last regime!  Again, rich.  "Contemptuous of democracy"?  Oh, but Liberals don't want Canadians to have direct democracy, and refuse to accept the possibility of referenda to decide serious issues, preferring to have themselves (perhaps along with their coalition partners on the hard left) impose whatever (sush as same-sex marriage), using whatever draconian, anti-democratic tactics they can, such as bribing people to cross the floor (recall Belinda Stronach)...  plus Liberals are gung-ho about usurping the duly-elected government by putting together an extreme-hard-left-wing coalition hellbent on marching in lockstep with the Obammunist Reich down south that's deliberately overwhelming and destroying America with monster-deficit-and-money-supply-expansion-fuelled overspending and extreme communist practices.

Dismissed.  Go back to Harvard, or to some NWO/Soros-funded/ChiCom/Muslim Brotherhood job somewhere... obviously outside of Canada, like before.

Cdn Economy Rocketing Up, Proving Harper Conservatives Good Govt

Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper has done an excellent job of steering Canada through and out of the global recession.

Canada is now leading the industrialized world in economic growth.

Canada is now expected to grow by 5.2 per cent in the first quarter of 2011, and 3.8 per cent in the current second quarter.

Much of that growth has come from the resources sector in Western Canada and continued strength in the housing market in most parts of the country.

That brings me to the Liberals of Ignatieff.  They want to kill the Western Canadian economic engine by strangling the life out of the oilpatch.  That would kill the recovery, and we know the ramifications of that, which would be devastating.

 Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff:
Hellbent on imposing socialism and destroying Canada's economy with a Seventies'-style tax-and-spend program the likes of which we haven't seen since the neo-communist Pierre Trudeau.

So don't "fix" what's already working very well.  The economy is working extremely well, ain't broke, so only a lunatic would come in and screw with that!  Then again, Liberals are lunatics!

Be Thankful For PM Harper & Conservatives

 Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
He does his job very well, especially considering the difficulties and odds he faces, vis-a-vis a minority-government situation, a global recession, a perpetually, pathologically hostile "news" media and such.  He's made Canada a world leader.  Let's give him plenty of time to continue with his work...

Perspective here...

Yup. A blog post by a regular, ordinary Canadian reminding us of what matters.

The sort of stuff you won't get from the "mainstream" newsmedia, which is clearly in the tank for the Liberal Coalition and closed-mindedly, dogmatically, pigheadedly opposed to all things Conservative just because they think there's something wrong with doing what's proven to work (capitalism, freedom, democracy, the rule of law, traditional values, and strong national defence capability to help ensure that no foreign entity can take these things away from us, plus robust defence of national constitutions against those who seek to scrap them to pursue a radical, dangerous agenda) and being careful not to do stuff that's proven NOT to work (ie. socialism-communism-fascism, which is what the "Progressive" "Liberal" "Left" wants to impose upon us against our will).

Was SwineFluScare Really A Moneymaking Scam?

A big hoax, a big lie, a massive con?

You know, rather like ClimateScam?  All those "experts" and "authorities" telling us to be afraid, very, very afraid, hand over our tax dollars, change our lives as they dictate and stuff?

Isn't it funny how it all went from major, widespread alarmism to... hey, whatever happened to Swime Flu?  Suddenly the Old Media just quit hollering at us about it.  WTF?!

Perhaps Big Pharma made all the money they figured they could, and all that surplus vaccine nobody showed up to get, it either went to the Third World or was just thrown in the garbage, much like our tax dollars.  What a waste.

Plus, after all, what's the big deal about a flu strain that doesn't even kill nearly as many per year as regular flu does?  Something doesn't add up.  Just like screaming about "global warming" and demanding trillions and trillions in tax and corporate dollars be blown on completely useless, scammy "carbon trading credits" when the actual evidence is that there's actually global cooling!
The WHO's response caused widespread, unnecessary fear and prompted countries around the world to waste millions of dollars, according to one report. At the same time, the Geneva-based arm of the United Nations relied on advice from experts with ties to drug makers in developing the guidelines it used to encourage countries to stockpile millions of doses of antiviral medications, according to the second report.
Doesn't crap like this just piss you the hell off?  Being told all that crap by these "experts", "authorities", failed Presidential candidates, deranged, arrogant, lying so-called "scientists" from an old CBC program, etc... telling us scary nonsense, blaming us for it and ordering us to change our lifestyles and empty our pockets.  All the while while they're profiting massively from the scam and refusing to answer questions when they're demonstrated to have been wrong...

We've been had, haven't we, on SwineFluScare and ClimateScam, right?  Logically, rationally...

Who can trust "experts" and "authorities" anymore?  Funny how we were told that we couldn't trust experts and authorities of the Bush Administration regarding Saddam's weapons of mass destruction, but we're told that so-called "scientists" from the corrupt, evil-led "United Nations" knows what they're talking about (it's already proven that they lied to us big-time) and that we better do as they tell us and empty out pockets?

We're being shaken down.  The recent recession brought unprecedented, propagated urgency that we needed to blow billions and trillions in borrowed money (borrowed, with the taxpayers legally on the hook for repayment, not the politicians who spent it!) for "stimulus" action to save our economies.  The wise amongst us knew it was pure BS, as we've weathered recessions and depressions before without the sort of spending in trillions of debt-financed dollars (mostly on porkbarreling and on temporarily hiring, for fraudulent "jobs created" optics, hundreds of thousands of census takers, many of whom turned out to be rather unscrupulous characters, to put it mildly) we see the Obamacrats doing to bankrupt America.

Unless We The People take action to stop the scammers, we'll continue to be scammed.  And the Old Media, which we KNOW is crooked and corrupt too, will be part of it all, the very vehicle for the scammers' propaganda messages.

Time to wake up.  At least those of us who aren't stupid and who actually care.

It's our money.  If we want to be "mean-spirited" and let the world disintegrate into a crisp or whatever by keeping our money in our wallets safe from the likes of Al Gore, David Suzuki, the UN, the Third World dictators, the Obamacrats, etc..., then so be it.  Let's be real gosh-darned  fecking mean and make the snake-oil hucksters feck off!

Ignatieff's Culture War Now On Full Afterburn

Liberal Party "Leader", the infamously-scary Michael Ignatieff:
Fomenting cultural warfare with sucker punches of dubious effectiveness

Again we see the Toronto (Red) Star dutifully helping the Prog leader propagate his Big Lies...

Blah, blah, blah...  Does this guy even know what he's saying?  What, is he just brainlessly uttering received talking points given to him to memorize for his Librano-love-in fundraising speech?  Like, rally the monied partisan rabble with whatever words of demonization may work...

He says that the Conservatives accuse the Liberals of fomenting cultural warfare for potential electoral advantage, and claims that that means that the Conservatives are "trying to divide and conquer".

Eh?  That's illogical.  Firstly, of course the Tories rightly point out the undeniable.  After all, Liberal-partisan pollster Frank Graves did advise the Liberals to do just that, not that it's a new thing for Liberals, who relish the very thought of cultural warfare, division and conquest.  Anyone who closely watched the Canadian political warfare scene during the tyrannical Chretien-Martin epoch knows this very, very well, and sees the Liberals trying to "go there" again, hoping in vain that Canadians haven't tired of the same old nonsense, the same old "scary, racist, sexist, anti-gay, anti-choice, mean-spirited, knuckledragger, redneck, people-with-guns-in-the-streets, hidden agenda..." gobbleddygook of which the Liberals were always accusing the Conservatives, none of which smears ever proved true.

The dark old Chretien days of this sort of thing are back, with the Liberal Party again following orders from the bottomless depths of red-hot darkness

One would've thought that with the exit of Warren "Prince of Darkness" Kinsella from the Liberal War Room, things would be better.  Well, apparently, one thought wrong.  They're as nasty as ever.  Apparently, beneath the mild-mannered veneer, Ignatieff Chief of Staff Peter Donolo is as evil and nasty and mean-spirited as Warren "Shit from Hell" Kinsella's ever been.  No doubt Peter's coming up with ideas of what stuffed animals to pull from gym bags on live TV to spread hatred and contempt against religious identifiable groups for potential electoral gain...

Top Librano$$$ of dark days bygone:
Warren Kinsella, Teflon-Don Jean Chretien and Peter Donolo

OF COURSE the Tories rightly say the plainly obvious about the Liberals fomenting cultural warfare.  Because the Liberals, from previous experience, know that it works, and are hoping that it still will.  Besides, their Holy Messiah Obama to the south is doing it, so they figure they better brainlessly emulate him to flatter and please him.  Which is why we can't afford to have the Liberals in power... just imagine them doing to Canada what the Obamacrats are doing to America... scary, ain't it?

 When darkness ruled:
The Cretch and Donolo cackling as they oppress and tyrannize the country

The Liberals think Canadians are going to fall for it all again.  Like before.  Well, they may be in for a surprise now.

Ignatieff utters many big, pompously professorly words, as if believing they'll impress Mainstream Canadiana, who've heard enough drivel and want plain talk for a change.  Who even knows what "provincialism" means?   And what exactly is Iggy talking about when he blabs the phrase "lowness of spirit"?  As if Liberals were all that spiritual themselves, as opposed to power-hungry, materialistic and greedy?  Yeah, right... look who's talking about low-spiritedness.

Iggy bizarrely claims that his more-than-three-decades-long absence from Canada somehow "makes him more Canadian" than those of us who never left for more than a few days at a time, or not at all.  How stupid and illogical can one get?  Apparently that stupid and illogical!  Of course, maybe Iggy's just saying what he's been told to say, and doesn't care to even think about it before he says it.  Much like his hero Obama, though Obama obviously requires more extensive use of teleprompters, because, apparently, he has little capacity for memorization, or, perhaps he's just too lazy to memorize (that'd involve mental effort, and we know that "progressives" hate to "go there").

Of course, then there's the mention of balanced budgets and debt repayments.  Well, when the Liberals were doing that, there was a massive international economic boom going on, and they cheated by keeping taxes high and by gutting health care, education, the military, security-intelligence, etc., etc., while enriching themselves and their cronies and electoral prospects with boondoggles, pork-barreling, mysterious, invisible foundations, and, of course, ADSCAMS... to the tune of uncountable tens of billions of dollars...  They never had to deal with what's been the worst global recession since the Great Depression, in the words of some talking heads.  Besides, they wanted the "stimulus" spending and got it, thanks to their threat to usurp the government with a Hard-Left, neo-Communist coalition with the insanely-leftist NDP and the traitorous Bloc.  So who the hell is Ignatieff to boast of the dumb-luck-and-cheating-founded successes of the Liberals, which, anyway, occured whilst Iggy was busy being as American as he could be and going around promoting what "progressives" call torture?

If this is how the Liberals and Michael Ignatieff and their propaganda wing the Big Media want to fight the war, then bring it on.

Cavalierly, delusionally oblivious to the new reality of the world:
Michael Ignatieff and snack.  And thumb.  Where to put that?

Things are different today from how they were when the Librano$$$ ruled with their velvet-gloved brass knuckles...

No longer do they control the minds of Canadians anywhere to the extent that they once did.  We see this reality in America as we speak, with the Democratic Party/Big Old Media Propaganda Machine failing to control the minds of Americans.  The Liberals are fools to carry on as before.  They're living in the past.  That will ensure their continuing undoing.

Good News

Canadian economy continues robust recovery, more jobs created

Private-sector, goods-producing sector up, public sector down.  This is the opposite of what's happening down south in National Socialist Obamademocratistan.
"The contribution from the private sector confirms that the Canadian recovery is well entrenched," said Yanick Desnoyers, assistant chief economist at National Bank Financial. "Furthermore, the goods-producing sector, the hardest hit in the recession, is starting to contribute to job creation. We expect manufacturing and transportation to benefit significantly from the strong inventory rebuilding cycle that is unfolding."

So far so good.  Canada IS moving in the right direction, is on the right track.

Of course, it shouldn't be surprising, considering the foregoing...
The Conservative government has weathered several controversies -- such as its decision to prorogue Parliament -- and remains firmly ahead of the opposition in terms of voter support, a new poll by Ipsos Reid suggests.

The Tories have secured a 10-point lead over the Liberal party, says the poll, which was conducted on behalf of Canwest News Service and Global National.

I guess that obsessively, overzealously, unhingedly waging "progressive" jihad against a mere junior cabmin, Helena Guergis, instead of attacking anything of substance that matters to Canadians, isn't working as a strategy for the Liberals.  Perhaps they should take another look at Peter Donolo and ask whether he knows what he's doing any more than did Warren Kinsella.  Oh, and take a look at "leader" Michael Ignatieff, too.  Is he really into it?  Perhaps he's getting frustrated and regrets his little brainfart of accepting the appointment to the captaincy of the sinking Liberal ship?

Good Economic Performance Revises Forecasts Upwards

Good job, Harper.  Good job, Conservatives.

Things are really, really coming back together in Canada, economy-wise.

Seems we're not that tightly-tied to what's currently going on down south in the Union of Obamerican Socialist Republics, after all.  Plenty of reasons for that, including a better business climate due to our more-free economy, but no need to get into that now.
“With the housing sector almost back to pre-recession highs, employment recouping almost 40 per cent of its recession losses and real retail spending and auto sales close to their highs, can we really call this a fragile recovery? It looks more and more V-shaped by the day.”

Canada's economy powered back to life in the final quarter of last year, expanding by a better-than-expected 5 per cent thanks to the housing market, consumer spending and trade.

Of course, the Big Media didn't say very much about that.  Just a very little, tiny bit.  Too busy bashing the Tories on proroguation (but not the Ontario Liberals, howcum not?!), bashing the Tories on Jaffer and his speeding, Guergis' alleged airport hissy fit and Blackburn's allegedly getting pissed when they confiscated his duty-free tequila, little stuff that doesn't really make any difference ultimately.  Too busy trying to destroy the Tories' public esteem to notice the good news about the economy coming roaring back big-time.  Shame!

Clearly, the Big Media seems more interested in conducting unrelenting partisan propaganda attacks than in reporting what's actually happening "out there in the real world"...

Soros Delusional, Claims US 'Not In Recession Under Obama'

Picture him in an SS officer's uniform, and that face won't look out of place!

One must wonder whether senility, or just the continuance of his pure evil, has set in for the billionaire ex-Nazi collaborator and de-facto Leader of the Hard Left.

Soros admitted he wanted the banks to be national-socialized, but is pissed that Obama didn't do what he wanted, insanely calling Obama's disobedience of his puppetmaster "un-American".  Guess Old Georgie won't be "cashing in" on national socialism as far as the banks are concerned.  Oh, well, he must figure, too bad.  At least he's still filthy rich and influential and can find other stuff to profiteer on, to hell with the consequences for others (reminiscent of his days working as a Nazi collaborator).

Guess that means that Soros's influence and power only go so far, then.  Oh, yes, he's got plenty, owing to his ability to use his vast fortune to influence all kinds of things via propaganda and intimidation, but, unluckily for him, there's nothing he can do to directly force Obama's hand...

...unless Soros is bullshitting us again, just to make us think that he doesn't control the POTUS?
“He is paying a very heavy price for actually saving the country from going into a very deep recession or a depression, because people don’t — haven’t experienced it,” Soros said.

Huh?  Is he loony tunes?  No recession?  Nobody experienced it?  What a Hard-Leftwingnutcase!  Of course, he didn't experience it, Mr. Moneybags, so how would he know what Mainstream Americana has been experiencing?  Talk about being out of touch!

Soros also approves of Obama's new dictatorial attitude towards imposing Obamacare, which only a fringe element of Americana wants (about 25%).  Soros approves of this undemocratic imposition.  Big surprise.  Not.  For someone who approved of, plus, unrepentantly-to-this-very-day aided and abetted, the Nazis...

Funny how Obama never, ever said anything critical of Soros, isn't it?  What, is he unable to dare to do so, like he dares to do so to "the other guys"?  Oh, well, it's clear that Soros is on Obama's side, and Obama, Soros.  The connection to this scary, lunatic extremist and former Nazi collaborator Soros, on the part of Obama... is undeniable, and Obama doesn't even try to deny it...

One.  Big.  Ass.  Mistake.  America.

I warned against voting for the Communist Man-Child...  Too bad the bedazzled-by-the-bullshit voters didn't check him out more carefully themselves before die Katze im Sack kaufen, as Soros's former bosses/mentors would put it...

Perhaps Mr. Soros thought he was getting a pig and has discovered he got a cat instead, too...  If so, then...  and then...  Oh, yeah, Old Georgie Peorgie Pig In Da Pokie... your time will come to burn... somewhere waaaaay down below.  At least you'll finally get to meet your Fuehrer!

...and George Soros called Bush all sorts of nasty stuff?!  Well, like, look who's talking, eh!  Typical psychiatric projection by a "progressive", eh!

Left Is Religion, Needs To Separate From Politics

Hmm.  Makes sense!

In Horowitz’s book The Politics of Bad Faith, the intellectual companion to Radical Son, he makes one of his most critical diagnoses of the Left in the second essay, titled “The Religious Roots of Radicalism.” Horowitz explains how the Jewish religious concept of Tikkun Olam – the quest to heal the world and pursue “social justice” – was incorporated by Karl Marx and other 19th century radical godfathers into the heart of the socialist cause. The religious became political. This insight has informed all of Horowitz’s work. The Left is a political faith.

This has been the Left’s problem since it began: it has sought to use political tools and government institutions to bring about religious ends. And as such it has failed repeatedly.

(...)

The world could not be effectively changed at the level of government. Merely passing laws, smashing institutions, and electing better politicians would not work to heal the world. To do so was to not really go to the root of the problem. To pursue tikkun olam effectively, to truly be progressive, to be radical in spirit, one must operate at the level of individual people – not governments, laws, and institutions.

This approach takes the Left out of the political arena and returns it to the religious realm from which it originally emerged. Focusing on healing individual souls is the way churches and synagogues function. And here’s the secret: it works. Good houses of worship do heal people’s souls and make them better people.
You know... the Left is always harping about the mythical dogma of "separation of church and state" but doesn't practice what it preaches.  As Leftism is really a religion, a belief, and not founded in the physical world, it has no business imposing its beliefs onto others.  Yet it does anyway.  And we know how badly it turns out when it does.

The Right is about what works, about pragmatism, about realism, the opposite of what the Left is about.

So, logically, political alternatives shouldn't be about Right and Left and Center, but rather about which Rightist party has the credibility, the ideas and the plan for good government.

The Left, bizarrely, wants all political parties to be Leftist, as we see in how they keep telling non-Leftists to "become more moderate" (which means to abandon respect for reality and pragmatism and to become more dogmatic, accepting Leftist beliefs that we already know don't work in politics and government).  Really, the Left should go back to whence it came, the houses of worship, and quit pretending that they've got the solutions to real-world problems.

Leftism is more spiritual and dogmatic than down-to-earth.  But not in a healthy way, as it is with modern, sophisticated JudeoChristianity, what with their pragmatism in dealing with reality.

So it's no surprise that Free World Leftists are closer in ideology to dogmatic political entities and regimes that don't work as they're supposed to according to their dogmas, than to the Free World Right, which was getting things right before things began to get screwed up in the 1960s and beyond as the Left asserted itself more and more and more everywhere.  After all, it was the dogma of "social justice" that caused the recent global recession, ie. the Democrats' policy of forcing lending institutions to lend huge amounts of money to people who couldn't afford to repay the loans.  Eventually the defaults caused the credit crisis, the downfall of many banks, the global recession, and all that crap.  It's all the Left's fault, and the fault of supposed Rightists (Bush) who succumbed to some of the same seductive temptations as have hardcore Leftists, and failed to halt the growing problem before it became a catastrophe.

It's also a dogma that appeasing evil will make evil good.  History teaches this irrefutable truth, but Leftists deny this, deny that we should fight evil (like when we stand up to, and push back, bullies, as opposed to submitting to their oppression and tyranny!) rather than reward it for being as it is.  Again it's about clinging stubbornly to their dogmas in the face of undeniable truth.  So forges ahead the Left, currently exemplified by Barack Hussein Obama the Hapless and Clueless who babbles lightheadedly about the words "hope" and "change", neither of which apparently mean a thing in reality.  Next thing you know, he'll start performing weird rituals as he delivers his teleprompted sermons via the Big Old Media pulpit.

PM Dismisses Ignatieff

Story here.

ht: NNW

“Emmanuelle Latraverse (a Radio-Canada television journalist) asked Michael Ignatieff why he wants to be Prime Minister. An easy question for a man who wants the job so badly he tried to force an election in the middle of a recession – someone who returned from Harvard just so he could become Prime Minister.”

The PMO internal e-mail says that Mr. Ignatieff couldn’t give a straight answer and that he stumbled and rambled.

“He talked about everything and anything, except why he wants to become PM.”

(...)

“This latest episode demonstrates what we have said all along: Michael Ignatieff is not in it for Canadians. He is in it for himself.”
Ha-ha... the paper says that the Iggy People are "livid".  Ha-ha.

Too bad, Iggy People.  But that's the inconvenient truth about Michael Ignatieff.  He's your guy.  Deal with it, chumps!

It's irrelevant that Iggy managed to provide an "eloquent" answer in a year-end interview with the CTV.  After all, these interviews are planned and rehearsed.  So Iggy can recall whatever his crackerjack make-stuff-up-for-Iggy "communicators" told him to say in response to the planned question, but if he can't think of an answer all by himself when prompted impromptu... well, he looks like an Obama caught in the stage lights without a teleprompter!

Also smells like Stephane "Do-Over" Dion.

Poor Iggy's gotten himself caught with his pants down... and look, he's got black socks on!

Ha-ha!

Canada's Massive Job Creation In November

Compared to the ridiculously-spun-as-positive LOSS in Obamerica of 11,000 more jobs, Canada, with only a tenth of America's population, created a whopping, and wholly unexpected-by-"experts", 79,000 new jobs in November.

AND this despite the fact that very little, a one-digit-percentage's-worth of the allocated-and-"commited" "stimulus" spending budget funds of sixty-odd-billion in borrowed dollars, has been spent so far.

See? The Left and the Leftist "economic experts" (kind of like those "scientists" who've been exposed as liars and frauds wrt global warming/climate change) who fearmongered that we needed deficit-spending Keynesian government interventionism to save the country from a depression (some depression- it was just a quick, albeit strong, recession!).

Clearly, the Harper Conservatives were right in the first place when, during the 2008 election campaign, they said that they didn't have to do anything much, certainly not go deeply into the red as the Three Stooges' Usurpation Coalition demanded they do, to copy the Obamacrat Reich.

We're now hearing that the Tory government is telling the potential recipients of the "stimulus" funds to "use it or lose it" in a short time frame.

I say let 'em lose it. They snooze, they lose. And the taxpayers and the federal fiscal health picture will all benefit massively. Then the deficit will shrink dramatically, as will the projected hike in the size of the debt.

I do see a pretty shrewd strategy on the part of the Tories. I predict some pleasant surprises in the offing.

I think that the Tories have wisely been telling the Big Old Media, which guillibly believed every negative warning, that the worst is in the offing, whilst the Tories are really most probably standing to deliver far better than the public expectations created by the clever manipulation of the mass perception of the big picture.

Lower the expectations and deliver much better than expected.

Underpromise and overdeliver.

So guillible, the Big Old Media and the so-called "experts". You see, it's the same strategy as predicting a "balanced budget" whilst really expecting a surprising surplus. Of course, it's prudent, and helps to keep both expectations and demands low.

If we expected better, then what? Certainly many would be demanding more spending, and that's no good, putting such pressure onto the government, whom the Leftist Opposition might again blackmail into acquiescence.

I love it when the Harper Conservatives fool the Leftist Opposition and the Big Old Media into calming down and shutting up (a little, anyway).

We don't need to go so deeply into the red, and I'm glad that, so far, it looks like the dire predictions of a massively-hiked national debt actually might not come true at all, and that at least some of the borrowed funds might actually be used to pay down the debt, or be rolled into general revenues and used to grow and strengthen the Canadian Forces.

How do I figure this stuff? Ah, elementary my Dear Reader. Elementary, logical deduction based on observable facts and the use of the brain. Nope, not bragging; just providing an example. It's better to analyze reality onself than to let others tell one what's what, even those dubbed by the Big Old Media as "experts" who necessarily know whereof they speak, and wouldn't ever give us any B.S., just because they're "professional economists" and such.

Re. "Peer-Reviewed"

Story here.

ht: Big Government
The trouble with outsourcing your marbles to the peer-reviewed set is that, if you take away one single thing from the leaked documents, it's that the global warm-mongers have wholly corrupted the "peer-review" process. When it comes to promoting the impending ecopalypse, the Climate Research Unit is the nerve-center of the operation. The "science" of the CRU dominates the "science" behind the United Nations IPCC, which dominates the "science" behind the Congressional cap-and-trade boondoggle, the upcoming Copenhagen shakindownen of the developed world, and the now-routine phenomenon of leaders of advanced, prosperous societies talking like gibbering madmen escaped from the padded cell, whether it's President Barack Obama promising to end the rise of the oceans or the Prince of Wales saying we only have 96 months left to save the planet.

Here's what Phil Jones of the CRU and his colleague Michael Mann of Penn State mean by "peer review". When Climate Research published a paper dissenting from the Jones-Mann "consensus," Jones demanded that the journal "rid itself of this troublesome editor," and Mann advised that "we have to stop considering Climate Research as a legitimate peer-reviewed journal. Perhaps we should encourage our colleagues in the climate research community to no longer submit to, or cite papers."
Yep. "Peers" is apparently anyone who wears a white coat monogrammed with "Dr." (or something else authorative/scientific sounding that's supposed to necessarily impress the gitchies off of us and make us automatically believe anything and everything they utter), who agrees with what one's peers have claimed.

To have such folks "review" (that could mean anything, like not even looking at the document at all... there's actually NO WAY to verify whether they did anything at all) one's claims and, either following the use of proper scientific examinatory approach ...or NOT..., concur with them, is to have one's claims "peer-reviewed".

What? How dare you ask whether people in white coats could possibly lie, could possibly conspire to defraud, frighten and fool The People into submitting to the most oppressive transformation to ever be imposed upon them against their will? How dare you! I wage jihad against you! Aaaaaahhhhh!
Death to the Deniers! Al Gore is great! The IPCC Paper is The Truth! You will be assimilated! Surrender or be destroyed!

Conspiracy (yes, conspiracy... it's proven with the co-conspirators' own words!) to censor dissenting views and to stick to The Mandatory Political Position at all costs, exactly like Parliamentary MPs/Congressional Reps/Senators being whipped by the Party
So much for Climate Research. When Geophysical Research Letters also showed signs of wandering off the "consensus" reservation, Dr. Tom Wigley ("one of the world's foremost experts on climate change") suggested they get the goods on its editor, Jim Saiers, and go to his bosses at the American Geophysical Union to "get him ousted." When another pair of troublesome dissenters emerge, Dr. Jones assured Dr. Mann, "I can't see either of these papers being in the next IPCC report. Kevin and I will keep them out somehow – even if we have to redefine what the peer-review literature is!"

(...)
"Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?" wondered Juvenal: Who watches the watchmen? But the beauty of the climate-change tree-ring circus is that you never need to ask "Who peer-reviews the peer-reviewers?" Mann peer-reviewed Jones, and Jones peer-reviewed Mann, and anyone who questioned their theories got exiled to the unwarmed wastes of Siberia. The "consensus" warm-mongers could have declared it only counts as "peer-reviewed" if it's published in Peer-Reviewed Studies published by Mann & Jones Publishing Inc. (Peermate of the Month: Al Gore, reclining naked, draped in dead polar bear fur, on a melting ice floe), and Ed Begley Jr. and "Andy" Revkin would still have wandered out, glassy-eyed, into the streets droning "Peer-reviewed studies. Cannot question. Peer-reviewed studies. The science is settled ... ."

"Peer-reviewed". Go ahead and submit. Make a fool of yourself. Commit intellectual sin, thus darning yourself to Heck.

But repent and save your soul. You CAN be absolved.

Resistance is good.

Money can't replace your soul.

(He actually mentions CLIMATEGATE, to his credit, indicating he's not delusionally nuts like those who casually carry on as if the whole AGW/CC thing has not been exposed as a criminal fraud conspiracy, a Big Lie)
Mr Harper has aligned Canada’s position on climate change with that of the United States, our largest trading partner, for sound economic reasons. Given the Clinton Administration’s decision not to submit Kyoto for senate ratification, it also makes sense to wait and see this time whether things evolve differently. And anyone who’s willing to give China and India a pass isn’t truly interested in combating global warming.

This is not to say that it’s not also convenient politically for the Prime Minister to link arms with Mr. Obama, who’s still very popular in Canada. It’s worth noting, however, that Mr. Harper’s political base is not really with him: they’ve for years been fighting the science of global warming and have recently been re-energized by the “Climategate” leaks. To date, however, only Saudi Arabia’s negotiator, Mohammad al-Sabban, has called into question the Copenhagen conference.

Mr. Harper will be facing tremendous heat in the coming weeks. To his good fortune, his approval rating — 51 per cent — is now at an all-time high, higher now than Mr. Obama’s in the United States. Whether he can maintain that approval rating in the coming months remains to be seen, but it seems that, on this issue at least, the Prime Minister is prepared to spend political capital in defending Canada’s interests.

Note that the conservative, mainstream-representing PM Harper is more popular in Canada than the ultra-hard-left-wing Obama is in America. Message to Obama... Dude!!!

Hmm... you know, PM Harper is known as a shrewd political strategist/tactician. I suspect that he knows what he's doing. After all, he was right long ago when he dismissed the whole AGW/CC thing as a "socialist plot". Just as he was right long ago (before his hand was forced by the threat of the undemocratic, far-left, neo-communist coup plot usurping his recently-democratically-elected government to take over and pretty much copy whatever Obama did) when he said there wasn't any need to blow tens of billions of dollars on discredited Keynesian government-interventionist debt-financed spending. After all, look at the results of Obama's blowing trillions of borrowed and printed dollars in America- even more people out of work and more businesses, including banks, collapsing, whilst Canada has done quite ok, thank you very much, indicating, logically and rationally, with the massively opposite results in the two countries, that the unneccessary, ineffective, state-directed "stimulus" spending has had no effect overall in either country, that conservative economic policies, as practiced by the Canadian Conservatives, work, whereas George Soros-dictated Obamanomics does NOT.

Harper can see the light at the end of the tunnel. He can tell that soon the whole thing will be over, and that by having "played along", or really just pretending to do so to manipulate the Big Old Media to quit bashing him all the time on the file, and ultimately just moving on without doing what Al Gore and David Suzuki were demanding (ie. destroy the Canadian economy to please the Axis of Evil and the International Socialist Conspiracy, etc., etc), he'll come out smelling like roses to everyone, having masterfully played for both sides. And, of course, that's what politics is all about, right?

Thank goodness for Mr. Harper. He's safely steering us through and out of the unavoidable Bermuda Triangle of Neo-Communist Insanity, just as he's steered us through the Hard-Left-caused global recession.

Then Why Pile It Up?

Obama says that the debt could cause a "double-dip" recession.

Well, that's what's been said for a long time already.

But Obama himself has been spending like there's no tomorrow... tax dollars, plus borrowed dollars, plus printed new dollars, with reckless abandon.

So if he knows that the's hurting America, why is he doing it so happily?

Why does he continue to blow all that money?

It's not as if it's saving or creating any jobs at all.

Because it's not being spent in a way that would.

We know they're just using it for whatever they want, to hell with everyone else, and to hell with the future of America. It's all about themselves and their cronies.

No wonder Obama's approval rating is already floating on the surface of the toilet water, and periodically submerging...

People are shaking their heads, frustrated. And asking how soon can we possibly kick the bums out? Including Obama? Can we impeach him ASAP? Etc...

Canadian Conservatives Don't Like Socialist 'Transaction Tax'

Thank goodness the Conservatives have common sense!

ST ANDREWS, Scotland (Reuters) - Proposals for a tax on financial transactions to fund the cost of future bank bailouts are unattractive, Finance Minister Jim Flaherty said on Saturday.

British finance minister Alistair Darling said at a G20 meeting of developed and emerging economies that the UK would back such a plan if it received broad international support, but Flaherty and U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner were skeptical.

"It's one of the ideas that's on the table, but is not particularly attractive to me as finance minister of Canada. We have been a government that has been reducing taxes," Flaherty told a news conference after the summit in St Andrews, Scotland.

Better to simply make sure that banks aren't knowingly giving loans to those who cannot or probably cannot repay them.

The Left in America didn't do that. In fact, they forced the banks to give loans to so many folks who couldn't repay them, that they caused the recession! And they don't appear to have learned their lesson at all, either.

Canada, even under the Liberals (uncharacteristically), didn't do what the American Left did. This is why we didn't have to bail out our banks.

So it's silly to impose a transaction tax to fund future bailouts. If problems such as the Left caused in America are going to be carefully prevented from happening, then there'll be no need for bailouts, and no need for a special tax to finance them.

There's a lot of lamebrained socialist ideas being proposed and implemented, particularly by the Obamacrat Regime. Then there's the "United Nations", which is coming up with the most ludicrous ideas we've ever heard.

Best to keep everything Canadian, and be wary of international-socialist nonsense proposals.

Canada can continue to lead the world by setting a common-sense example.

U.S. Art Agencies Seeing Massive Boost In Taxpayer Funding

Hmmmmm.

Yep. Obama's army of Leni Riefenstahls is definitely getting "stimulated"!
WASHINGTON (AP) - The National Endowment for the Arts and National Endowment for the Humanities are expected to receive their highest levels of funding in 16 years from a bill President Barack Obama is expected to sign into law by this weekend.

(...)

The increase—amid a record federal budget deficit—comes after an aggressive push by lobbyists to show that arts organizations provide thousands of jobs across the country. Many arts groups, including the Baltimore Opera, have closed their doors or cut jobs because of the tough recession.
Uh-huh. Just in time to expand the ObaDeMedia Complex's propaganda and mass-deception capacity and reach.

They call it "news" and "art".

Of course, the Chinese Communist Party also calls China the "Peoples' Republic", even though it's abundantly clear that the CCP does NOT consider China as belonging to the People.

Just because we call something what we call it, doesn't mean it is what we call it.

And this boost in funding comes on the heels of Obama's cutting short America's F-22 air superiority fighter program, plus the alternative, backup engine program for the F-35 multi-version, versatile-platform fighter. This, of course, axes thousands of jobs at a time of deep depression caused by the Left's destructive financial industry policies started in the Clinton era.

Real smart of them to replace thousands of axed national-security-related jobs with a relatively-paltry handful of regime-propaganda jobs, eh?

Gotta sell Obama's National Surrender Agenda!

Further Exposing Dangerous-Extremist Obama Czar Sunstein

Cass Sunstein, Obama's handpicked "Regulatory Czar".

The latest.

Sunstein: Use recession to impose socialism

It's obvious that this guy would like to have Obama use the recession to impose socialism. Oh, wait... isn't Obama already doing that?

Ah... no wonder Obama appointed such a yes-man.

Obama Czar Sunstein Advocates Without-Permission, Live Human Organ Harvesting

Just like the Chinese Communists do to ideological prisoners, particularly Falun Gong practitioners.

These neo-communists are obviously all alike in the head, ultimately!

In his 2008 book, "Nudge: Improving Decisions about Health, Wealth and Happiness," Sunstein and co-author Richard Thaler discussed multiple legal scenarios regarding organ donation. One possibility presented in the book, termed by Sunstein as "routine removal," posits that "the state owns the rights to body parts of people who are dead or in certain hopeless conditions, and it can remove their organs without asking anyone's permission."

"Though it may sound grotesque, routine removal is not impossible to defend," wrote Sunstein. "In theory, it would save lives, and it would do so without intruding on anyone who has any prospect for life."

In other words, while Obama may or may not condone "pulling the plug on Grandma", his choice of Sunstein would tend to suggest that Obama might condone stealing organs from Grandma if the Death Panels deem her to be "terminal", "without prospect for life".

Frightening that he believes that the state "owns" peoples' bodies. I thought the Left was opposed to the state controlling peoples' bodies? Whatever happened to "right to choose"? Whatever happened to the rights of families to their own members' remains? Guess Sunstein wants to have such rights taken away, because such rights are inconvenient to the socialist agenda.

Shades of "Doctor" Mengele. Shades of the Chinese Communist Regime, though that regime steals organs from the healthiest people of all, the Falun Gong.

After defending the position, Sunstein conceded the "routine removal" approach "violates a generally accepted principle, which is that within broad limits, individuals should be able to decide what is to be done with and to their bodies."

Still, Sunstein did not add that the removal of organs from a living individual should be banned.

Fofecksake... just get that guy out of there!

Get Obama out of there, too, because he's deliberately appointing such lunatically dangerous ideologues to positions of unvetted, unaccountable power!

Tories Now The 'Natural Governing Party'?

"Tipping point": Globe and Mail says so.

The Official Opposition seems to have lost its way. No one has the foggiest idea of what Canada's Liberals stand for, save for a return to Pearsonian diplomacy and Team Canada missions. Having so badly bungled such policy issues as the carbon tax in last year's election, the party is literally afraid to advocate new initiatives. Having committed an act of transcendent political lunacy in agreeing last winter to a coalition with the NDP, with separatist support, the Liberals have left themselves far more vulnerable to the “hidden agenda” card than Mr. Harper's Conservatives have ever been.

(...)

Three previous Conservative prime ministers have failed to achieve the success that is almost in Mr. Harper's grasp. Sir Robert Borden's Conservative government was ground up in the muck of Great War battlefields and conscription. The most charitable interpretations of John Diefenbaker's squandering of his majority involve hard times – a very long recession – and the dilemmas of Cold War politics; another view is that he self-immolated in paranoia and ineptitude. In the late 1980s, Brian Mulroney's attempt to forge a permanent Conservative majority floundered over Meech Lake and Canadians' resentment at transparent pork-barrelling, sleaze and his government's overriding image of phoniness. So far, there is no evidence that Mr. Harper will fall into similar pits – although it would not hurt for Conservatives to remind themselves these days how easily power and spending corrupt.

Perhaps the cruellest problem the Liberals face is the fading of Quebec as the crucial national battleground. Whether or not the Liberals get their Quebec act together, the Conservatives are on the verge of being able to form a majority government even without effective Quebec representation, a prospect that will be more evident in future years after parliamentary redistribution.

A wonderful new era dawns for Canada...

What a striking contrast to the calamity currently gripping the United States.

Five years ago I would've said about such a scenario, "Yeah, right, sure, that'll be the case in five years... and I'll be married to Ann Coulter by then.".

Well, I'm still single and Ann Coulter likely doesn't even know I exist, but it does appear that the other stuff is actually happening.

Hatoyama's Japan Abandoning U.S. For China, Seeks Asian Union

Yukio Hatoyama, a different kind of Japanese leader.
Too friendly towards Communist-ruled China.
Too hostile towards America.

Kind of like a Japanese Obama.

Story here.

ht: Jane

I'd say that the most telling evidence of this guy's ideology is the following (emphasis mine):

Hatoyama blames America for the global economic crisis and says that the U.S. is responsible for “the destruction of human dignity.” He campaigned on protecting traditional Japanese economic activities and reducing U.S.-led globalization.

That sounds like a delusional propaganda utterance we'd hear from the likes of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez, etc. It wouldn't shock me to find out that he also blames the Jooooos for bad stuff. That's almost a foregone conclusion with respect to those who seem to be neo-communists. They blame America and the Jews (Israel) for everything, after all, while fully knowledgeable that the problems of America (ie. the mortgage crisis and subsequent recession) are largely actually the fault of neo-communist useful idiots (the Democratic Party et al), with low-profile facilitation from the Non-Free, Communist World.

An alarming statement coming from a man who's supposed to be an ally of the Free World, certainly of America.

More alarming for American policymakers, Hatoyama has authorized a wide-ranging review of the U.S. military presence on Japanese soil. He is reexamining the agreement that permits U.S. warships to dock at Japanese ports, and has said Japan should take a second look at why it is spending billions to house and transfer U.S. troops between its islands. Hatoyama has also moved to quickly end Japan’s fueling support for the U.S. naval anti-terrorism efforts in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

On Wednesday, an even bigger torpedo hit. Both U.S. and Japanese officials confirmed that discussions were underway to remove all U.S. fighter aircraft from Japan.

So many alarm bells have been clanging in Washington that the Australian reports the U.S. administration has requested “immediate clarifying discussions” on just how far Japan wants to take the disengagement. But there may not be too much America can do if Japan is intent on reducing America’s presence in Japanese territory. Regarding the U.S.-Japan security relationship, Richard Armitage, former U.S. deputy secretary of state, said: “If the government of Japan asked us to change things, we’d argue, we’d kick and scream, but ultimately we’d have to do it.”

That, coupled with Hatoyama's obvious tightness with China's Hu Jintao, is definitely cause for concern. It would be a dangerous turning point in history. Dangerous for the Free World. And Hatoyama is fine with that, preferring to put all his eggs in the Chinese Communist basket.

And the folks currently running America, they're the worst possible folks to be in power right now...

The thing we must understand is that if America is brought to its knees as the world turns against her, then the entire Free World will be in danger, as well as will be freedom, democracy, the rule of law and human rights worldwide.

The Obamacrat Regime's policy of dropping trou and bending over in submission to such international hostility is only going to make things worse.

A strong, patriotic American President and government are what are needed now. And the change in Congressional and Senate makeup in 2010 and in the White House in 2012 can't come too soon! Hell, maybe there can be an impeachment in 2011... it's not as if there's nothing damning to use to impeach the joker currently occupying the White House.

America doesn't have to apologize for who and what she is. If the other guys don't apologize for being infinitely worse, then why should she? It would be, and is, illogical for such an apology, and such an apology Obama delivers as often as he says "um", "uh", "er", etc...
