MSM Again Demonstrates Its Myopically Ideological Agenda

The mainstream media should be alerting the People to things such as this.

But instead it prefers to incessantly hound, stalk and pretty much criminally harass a man who has already suffered enough and has made adequate amends for a mistake he made a long, long time ago.

Where are the MSM's priorities? Why does it keep on obsessing over such things as phony, radical-agenda-driven aggrievement on the part of radically militant activists while there's serious, material current events to be investigated and reported on?

Why does the MSM think that a hypersensitive-to-names-and-insults group is more important than a group fighting for its very survival, who is threatened by the Chinese Communist Party via a holocaust in China and an international propagandic hate campaign which the MSM wishes to ignore, perhaps because the MSM hates the Falun Gong out of political correctness/appeasement of the murderous SinoCommunists?

Why is it critically important to obsessively hound a man for the rest of his life just because he simply, while drunk, said "faggots" a very long time ago whereas a holocaust isn't worthy of any reporting or even attention by the MSM?

What, therefore, is the MSM, other than a whorable activist/propagandist/hate group open to influence by special interests and by murderous foreign regimes who don't respect anyone's human rights?

So much for press freedom. It appears to be under the control of special interests rather than the interests of unbiased, relevant information gathering and dissemination.

Gov't Finally Moves To Investigate, Review Fascist 'Human Rights' Commission

Take heart, my fellow freedom loving Canadians. The government has, indeed, been listening to your concerns about the liberal fascists who take away peoples' rights.

And they're now taking action.

Canadian freedom fighter Ezra Levant tells us about it.

The Conservative government has introduced a motion to Parliament's Justice Committee proposing an investigation into the abusive, corrupt practises of the Canadian Human Rights Commission. The motion specifically refers to public "concerns" about the CHRC's "investigative techniques" and their "interpretation and application" of the section 13 thought crimes provision.

The resolution, which you can read here in both official languages, was put forward by Rick Dykstra (pictured at left), the Conservative MP from St. Catherines, Ontario, with the knowledge and approval of the Justice Minister, Rob Nicholson. Here is an e-mail from Nicholson, sent to a voter just today, in which you can read his change of approach. An excerpt from Nicholson's letter:

I would like to inform you that my caucus colleague Mr. Rick Dykstra has tabled a motion that the House of Commons Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights examine and make recommendations with respect to the CHRC, including its mandate, operations, and interpretation and application of provisions relating to section 13 of the CHRA, which addresses hate messages. I look forward to that review.

Jason Kenney, the Secretary of State for Multiculturalism, was also instrumental in getting this issue onto the government's agenda.

The government's proposed inquiry comes on top of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada's announcement last month that she is investigating the corrupt and abusive conduct of the Canadian Human Rights Commission. And earlier this month, Ottawa police referred a criminal complaint about the CHRC to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, who are now conducting a criminal investigation.

Canada is becoming a country that, bit by bit, will less and less tolerate intolerance, particularly in the bureaucratic, "arms-length", leftist-dominated state apparatus. After all, the state apparatus has spun out of control, hijacked by the fascist forces of far-left darkness.

The wheels of reform are in motion as we speak.

This is why we must ensure that the Left doesn't come back to power. If the Left were to win an election again soon, the wheels would be brought to a halt and reversed, restoring and quickly worsening the Stalinist regime which has been and continues to oppress and tyrannize Canadians for (inconveniently for the Left) exercising and enjoying their human rights.

We will not rest until this hateful far-left monster is slain.

Imagine if, instead of giving the ultimatum to the Boy Scouts, they gave it to, say, a large Islamic organization.

Imagine if Philadelphia gave the Islamic organization an ultimatum to the effect that they had to allow "gays" and atheists to belong to their organization. You can't, can you? They wouldn't dare, not for Islamists, as they know the consequences of offending that group.

What if the "gay" militant group EGALE were told that they had to accept religious minorities who were staunchly opposed to homosexuality for religious reasons? Like hell this would happen.

No consequences for offending the Scouts? Well, it appears that the Scouts are going to be fighting back.

I hope the judge they face isn't a far-left activist. Left-wing-activist judges are never fair nor do they just stick to their job; they always favor certain groups over others, regardless of the letter of the law and even regardless of the Constitution as written and intended.

What if I were to one day start an organization that celebrates and honors the Knights of the Crusades? What if one day a bunch of Islamic supremacist-imperialists were to get some government to tell my organization that it must allow membership by hateful Islamofascists or else lose our headquarters? Well, I'd be pretty mad over that and wouldn't submit. I'd start a crusade against my attackers in court, too! Like hell they'll get away with trying to plunder and pillage my organization's rights!

Equal rights for all is the only acceptable situation. Rights for some but not for others is an unacceptable situation.

The Audacious Delusion of a Dope

Much has been reported and said about Barack Obama's wish to sit down and talk to Iranian Islamofascist tyrant Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Well, have you read this rather excellent piece about that?

Liberals think the way to deal with dangerous tyrants is to send in a sensitive president who will make Ahmadinejad fall in love with him. They imagine Obama becoming Ahmadinejad's psychotherapist, like Barbra Streisand in "The Prince of Tides."

President Bush described such people perfectly with his reference to Sen. William Edgar Borah, the one who said World War II could have been avoided if only he could have talked to Hitler.

Liberals refuse to learn from history because they put their hands over their ears and tell themselves over and over again: "Hitler was different."

But the evilness he possessed was no different from the evilness possessed today by the likes of Ahmadinejad. Evil is evil. This is what liberals must come to realize. Before it's too late.

How much evil must be wrought, and for how long, with how many innocents tortured and murdered, before liberals/progressives will finally say, "Enough is enough. It's time to tell this guy to stop killing/not start to kill innocents or else we'll come and kill him so he can't kill anyone else anymore."? In other words, at what point does morality and the understanding of the difference between right and wrong kick in for liberals? If ever?

Don't expect this to happen unless Ahmadinejad attacks, say, Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea or China, to name but four socialist paradises liberals would be loathe to see anyone attack. After all, as I understand history, liberals during WWII were opposed to getting involved in beating back the Nazis until the Nazis dared to attack the socialist paradise of the Soviet Union. Yep. Ok to invade all of Europe, but they'll be damned if they let the terrible Nazis take away socialism from the Soviet Union!

Looks like the liberals are performing an historical (one could also say "hysterical") encore.

But they could at least send the following message to all tyrants:

Don't do anything stupid, you tyrants, or else we'll come over there. And it won't be to talk.

Maybe they'll end up wiping each other out. Who knows?

Germany Gives Award To Nazi Doctor

I've been saying for some time now that Germany hasn't learned the lessons of the past and appears to be repeating it in some ways. I've already blogged on this site about how the German state continues to use its gestapo powers to enforce Hitler's very own law banning homeschooling, leading to the persecution of Christian families who want to homeschool so as to avoid having their children being indoctrinated in, for example, bizarre, far-left-approved dogmatic sexual nonsense, which is against their religion. Many Christian families have been forced to flee Germany already to go to countries that respect their human rights.

Now we have the German state apparatus giving an award to a Nazi doctor. This is just incredible. I cannot believe they'd honor a Nazi butcher.

Dr. Hans-Joachim Sewering was honoured for having "performed unequalled services in the cause of freedom of the practice and the independence of the medical profession, and to the nation's health system," the German Federation of Internal Medicine said in a statement.

Since 1978, Der Spiegel has published documents claiming that Sewering, while a doctor at a tuberculosis clinic near Munich, sent a 14-year-old girl to die at a euthanasia centre carrying out secret Nazi policies to murder members of society especially weak of body or mind.

The U.S. Anti-Defamation League claims Sewering sent a total of 900 children to their death at a euthanasia centre. Sewering has admitted to membership in the SS, an elite Nazi formation, but has always denied being responsible for euthansia.

This is a highly inappropriate choice. No Nazi war criminal should be awarded anything other than, perhaps, a noose. Worn firmly around the neck.

Something is clearly still wrong in Germany.

Carbon Tax Bad For Poor: NDP Leader

Who cares about the poor? Liberal 'leader' Stephane Dion would impose a carbon tax that would literally have poor Canadians freezing in the dark. His claim that he'd cut income taxes to balance the hardship brought by the carbon tax simply wouldn't help the poor, who pay little or no tax. Worse, he'd raise the GST, which would also hurt the poor, who have no choice but to pay it for things such as food, clothing, school supplies and other necissities.

"Let the poor freeze naked and starve in the dark"... is this the new Liberal philosophy of "caring and compassion"?

New Democrat leader Jack Layton is correct that a carbon tax, as proposed by Liberal 'leader' Stephane Dion, would be hurtful for the poor.

If you're poor, or if you care about the poor, don't vote Liberal. Don't vote Liberal anyway, as a carbon tax will hurt everyone... except a Liberal government, who would haul in our money hand over fist...

Apparently Liberals must hate poor people. Apparently Liberals want to take as much away from everyone that they can, no matter how little we may have to surrender.

Liberal Leader Dion Less Popular Than Bush?

Surely, even US President Bush must have an approval rating above the measly ten percent being suffered by the hapless (or should I say "hopeless"?) Liberal "leader" Stephane Dion!

Not since former Liberal leader John Turner bottomed out with a 14 per cent approval rating shortly after losing the 1988 election have things been so bad for the head of Canada's most successful political party. Just 10 per cent of those surveyed stand behind Dion's leadership, the poll shows, compared to 32 per cent for Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

What's worse is that the number of people who said they were unsure about Dion's performance has dropped from 46 per cent at the end of last summer to 30 per cent this month, meaning that Canadians are making up their minds about a leader who has had difficulties rallying his party behind him as well as communicating his party's positions to potential voters.

I think that Stephane Dion, what with his terrible and sinking approval numbers and his bizarre, sure-to-be-soundly-rejected carbon tax policy will prove to be a perfect storm, battering the Liberals badly, all the way up to the next election, whenever it may be.

That said, I'm watching with a little smirk as the Liberals continue to allow this hopeless little dweeb to carry the white flag for them.

I note also with bemusement the left-leaning media types and pundits who apparently believe that the Liberal carbon tax policy will prove to be a popular proposal with Canadians. Geez... exactly how much "green" stuff have they been a-smokin'? Like feck Canadians want to pay even more than they already are for their energy needs! I'm reminded of Joe Clark's disaster of a gas-tax-hike proposal back in '79, which led to the return of Pierre Trudeau, who nevertheless raised gas taxes in addition to having devastated Western Canada's energy sector and economy with the hated-with-an-undying-passion-by-Westerners "National Energy Program", sparking an unprecedented separatist movement there that surged rather dangerously during the last Liberal regime.

Now that Newfoundland and Nova Scotia are energy-producing provinces and enjoying the financial benefits therefrom, I predict that these provinces will join with the western provinces in soundly rejecting the Liberal carbon tax policy. Like hell they'll willingly go back to have-not status... they need a carbon tax like they need a bullet in the head!

Sooner or later the Liberal Party's numbers will have to plummet as well. "Leader" Dion is becoming heavier and heavier ballast... too much ballast and the ship will either have to dump it or sink.
