Creepy Prog Spotlight: Brigitte DePape

Brigitte DePape, the Ultra Far Left's new hero, showing off her latest creation, above...

...and, below, with her favorite doll...

A little later...

Well, it wasn't very well-received, apparently, above...

Whereas, at other times, she meets with approval from her own peeps...  such as former Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff, below...

Geez.  Them leftists are sooooo creepy, aren't they?

And "poopy". Don't forget "poopy".

Surprising to see Balbulican engaged in a DePape smear.

I saw one of her interviews. A sad commentary. No substance there whatsoever. What she fails to see is the seriousness of her actions. DePape's interruption of government at its highest level was not a civil disobedience but a civil disruption. She broke her oath to assist her country, a fine example of a democracy. She broke her oath to democracy.

Claiming no party affiliation and calling for protests without concern for time and place makes her an anarchist.

No doubt her actions will inspire further disruptions which will lead to insurrections, violence, injury, and quite possibly deaths.

Interestingly, she described feeling a "weird kinda calmness" before she pulled out her sign which was hidden in her skirt. She had changed her name in preparation for the event. This is notably no different than what is reported by persons prior to engaging in acts of extreme violence. Perhaps she is a budding assassin. Perhaps next time she'll pull out a gun.

Well, exactly. Or a BOMB! Or a vial of ANTHRAX!!

Excellent risk analysis, coupled with a devastatingly rigorous psychological analysis.

Seriously, though, no wonder Americans' life expectancy is lower than Canadians. We tend not to look at kids with banners and see Potential ASSASSINS.

On that theme, you mentioned earlier that "Per capita, America enjoys 6% LESS political assassination than Canada."

Got a source or a link? Just trying to figure out what statistics you misunderstood, or whether you're just making stuff up. Cheers?

Brigitte DePape is a heroine, don't you forget it!!

balbulican said...

Dunno about that. I thought it was a pretty good piece of political theatre, and well managed. It amused and inspired like minded folks, outraged everyone else, got excellent media play, and attracted attention to her message (which was admittedly not very sophisticated).

Interestingly, most of the leading lefty pundits are agreeing that, while they appreciated the gesture, firing her was an appropriate response.

balbulican said...

But "heroine"? Naw, not really. That term gets tossed around a little too much these days, I think.

A heroine or on heroin?

As balbulican downplays this piece of “literally unimaginable Canadian political discourse,”
I have to ask WTF? Was Harper in a tank?
You watch this “kid with a banner” calling for Arab Spring in Canada.
Arab Spring is violent political revolution. Hmmmm… Death toll for Arab Spring is now near what…
15,000?
http://www.politicalworldview.com/2011/05/arab-spring-death-toll-approaches-2500.html
Patty Hearst springs to mind.
Well, as she is photo shopped into Tiananmen Square, with Jabba the Hut (Michael Moore) and over images of Hearst just remember what a dangerous little twit she is.

Oh come on, you're going off the deep end. She will shortly be forgotten. She had her 15 minutes of fame. It's of no consequence. The sky is not going to fall. Get a grip.

"Oh come on, you're going off the deep end."

My dear boy, the deep end is where squiggles and his ilk LIVE.

We see a moderately amusing piece of political theatre. Even Scenty can't summon up much more that his usual bad photoshopping.

Squiggles, on the other hand, sees a potential assassin.

You DO know that American die earlier than Canadians, right? Must be the blood pressure.

Canuckguy said...

@Balbul
Ahh, of course, you're right. Squiggles already lives lives in the deep end where light does not reach. A world of darkness.

Right wing schnooks versus lefty kooks.

Down with Politics!

Politics: the degenerate behaviour of pathological narcissists at our post-Enlightenment "end of history", (adequately illustrated by the header to this blog and the ultra right-wing obsession with assassination and killing of dissenters, as say Flannagan's wish that Julian Assange would be murdered by state power). Let's kill them all, and let God sort out his own, eh?

(Note for the historically handicapped in "conservative" memory: a famous saying that characterised the Inquisition, which saw heretics -- read today "far ultra left" -- disappeared through "extraordinary rendition", torture, etc -- during the decadent stages of the formerly High Middle Ages, until this decadence was swept away by the Protestant Revolution).

Suggest you ponder your own hypocrisies.

Politics is the discursive process of attaining consensus regarding the methodology and ideology of goal achievement.
The severely damaged perspective of the previous commenter is the result of chronic exposure to nihilism. Witness the cry for revolution based on misdirected assertions.
Well C.S., I believe little Miss Brigitte has just paid you a visit.

Little Miss Brigitte paid you a visit
Showing her derisive way.
She had a good rant, but persuade - she can’t.
Ignorance is the word of the day.

Thanks, Free. We truly appreciate your affirmation that we, as Canadians, respect free speech more highly than anywhere else on the planet.

@Free
That's sarcasm, BTW

This comparison is hilariously funny. I love it! Have to love the humor behind it along with the leftist thought.

Attending a rally "inspired by her actions" Brigitte (Wednesday) DePape spoke after the elegant Pierre Beaulieu-Blais. Here is an example of his fine Canadian discourse ( at 35 sec.)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmoC0aDdaGY

Pierre vacations in the Hamptons.
Elitist prog.

...and Lisa Scofield from the Ontario Coalition against Poverty (OCAP)was there too! (I wonder if she has a house in the Hamptons.)Here is a slightly redacted quote from her:

"This bull***t assembly behind us of rich f***ers behind us are in there right now to plan attacks against our communities," says Scofield.

"They can make all the f***ing plans they want because we will be there to fight them every step of the way."

Nice friends little Miss Brigitte.

Unimaginable eh, old balbsy; balbsy walbsy old boy.

Yeah, our protesters yell at rallies, for sure.

Nice to see that Senator of yours is recovering. Pity the judge died.

Indeed, the Balbulican is extraordinarily lame. Tragic that he refuses to accept this inconvenient truth and embark on a journey of self-improvement, of coolification, of getting his head screwed on straight...

You guys used to be better at this, I think. Oh, well. I suppose you're doing your best.
