Iran on Monday opened a conference on the Holocaust, saying it would not be an attempt to deny the Second World War genocide but merely to discuss it in an unrestricted atmosphere.
However, the conference was initiated by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who has described the Holocaust as a "myth" and called for Israel to be wiped off the map. The organizers, the Foreign Ministry's Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS), said the two-day conference has drawn 67 foreign researchers from 30 countries.
In his opening speech, the institute's chief, Rasoul Mousavi, said the conference "seeks neither to deny or prove the Holocaust.
"It is just to provide an appropriate scientific atmosphere for scholars to offer their opinions in freedom about a historical issue," Mousavi said.
Oh? I see.
Well then, let the Free World have a great big conference, too... but not to question the Holocaust. Oh, no... there's no doubt that it happened, that it was real.
Rather, let's have an historic international conference to discuss Islam and Mohammed. Let's discuss whether it's actually peaceful and tolerant, as is claimed in politically correct terms.
Let's have pictures of Mohammed. Let's have big banners with damning verses from the Koran that proves that Islam is intolerant and warlike, which I've conclusively found it to be from my own research as well as real-world observations of the behavior of so many, many Muslims worldwide.
Let's discuss what kind of man Mohammed actually was. Let's have Salman Rushdie, Robert Spencer, Walid Shoebat, Ali Sinha, Daniel Pipes and many, many more truthful, brave, respected experts as speakers.
Let's talk about the murders, the rapes, the plundering & pillaging, the pedophilia of Mohammed. Let's talk about it all!
Let's talk about the way Islam treats women. Let's talk about the way the Islamic world treats nonMuslims. Let's talk about how horribly the Islamic world treats various sexual minorities as mandated by the Koran itself. Let's talk about the mandatory jihad for all able-bodied Muslims. Let's talk about all the intolerance, the supremacism, the arrogance, the imperialism.
Let's talk openly and franky without intimidation nor threats from anyone, including Muslims.
Or is that wishful thinking?

That's right: we're going to talk about the truth about Islam. We will not be silenced, nor intimidated. We will not submit. The few who may be murdered by Muslims for speaking the truth about Islam will be martyrs and will inspire many, many, many more brave souls to stand up and speak out about Islam.
