Mounties Launch Another Investigation Into Liberal Gov't Wrongdoing

Yep... another criminal investigation into missing millions and no evidence work was done for money disbursed by... yep, Public Works... while... yep, Alfonso Gagliano was Minister. Yep.

What's that, criminal investigation number 36 or 37? They seem to keep on coming out of nowhere.

Another skeleton emerges from the proverbial closet.

Read the whole story here. Yep, click and read it.

This time it involves the Canadian Space Agency and...

Samir Elomari, a former CSA scientist who successfully sued the space agency for falsely appropriating one of his inventions, submitted a formal complaint to the RCMP last month.

Evidence that at least $7.3 million worth of contracts have never been publicly accounted for was presented during the 2004 Quebec Superior Court hearing for Elomari's $14.375-million civil suit against the agency.

(...)

Elomari claims he received threats and reprisals from new space agency president Virendra Jha -- who was vice-president of science and technology programs at the time of the case.

Hmm... "threats and reprisals"... I think we've heard of this happening before.
Mr. Elomari also indicates no work was done for the money in question.

Oh, and by the way, the RCMP says that an investigator will be assigned to the case "As soon as one is available". Sigh... we saw that coming, didn't we? Boy-o-boy, do the Tories ever have plenty of work to do... so many great big messes to deal with courtesy of the hated Libranos...

And the Libranos actually believe that just due to an unstellar first week for the Tories, due to something the Libranos themselves did and got away with, they'll "make a quick comeback"? Oh, man... now what have the poor old crazy bums been smoking lately? Who told them that, old Paulie Martin? The guy who swore he'd bring the Libranos to victory last election? Talk about delusion! Where's the orderlies with the straitjackets? Better bring sedatives, too!

Hey... is that a violin? What's it playing, "Deja vu all over again"?

President Carter Allowed Spying on Americans Also

Former Democratic US president Jimmy Carter, at lectern above, at Coretta Scott King's funeral last week, ignominiously abuses the serious, somber occasion to hypocritically rip into US president George Bush, sitting next to First Lady Laura, on his authorization of wiretapping for the purposes of the war on terror. Note the expressions on the Bush's faces. Carter can forget about ever again getting invited to White House parties! Gawd, typical leftist... such horrible manners and hypocrisy!

Excerpts from WashTimes.com:

Former President Jimmy Carter, who publicly rebuked President Bush's warrantless eavesdropping program this week during the funeral of Coretta Scott King and at a campaign event, used similar surveillance against suspected spies.
But in 1977, Mr. Carter and his attorney general, Griffin B. Bell, authorized warrantless electronic surveillance used in the conviction of two men for spying on behalf of Vietnam.
The men, Truong Dinh Hung and Ronald Louis Humphrey, challenged their espionage convictions to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit, which unanimously ruled that the warrantless searches did not violate the men's rights.
In its opinion, the court said the executive branch has the "inherent authority" to wiretap enemies such as terror plotters and is excused from obtaining warrants when surveillance is "conducted 'primarily' for foreign intelligence reasons."
(Emphasis mine)
Well, well, well... it looks as if Carter's calling the kettle black... at a very important, historic funeral which was supposed to be about the life of Coretta Scott King. Highly inappropriate, boorish and unbecoming a former president and supposed statesman. A double-whammy explosion of leftist moonbattery!
Carter not only made a complete ass of himself at the funeral, but also believes it was ok for him to authorize surveillance without a warrant for national security purposes while it isn't ok for Bush to do the same?
Has Carter become demented? Or is it just the same mental disorder that has affected leftists for quite some time now? Is there some brain-weakening virus going around which only affects leftists? What other explanation is there for the bizarre behavior of leftists?

Pennsylvania Man Caught in Plot to Bomb US Pipelines, Refineries For Al Qaeda

Michael Curtis Reynolds: Al Qaeda operative?

Read about it all at the Northeast Intelligence Network.

Excerpts (emphasis mine):

Michael Curtis REYNOLDS, 47, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and Pocatello, Idaho, has been incarcerated in the Lackawanna County, PA jail since December 5, 2005 on a weapons charge. Federal officials, however, have evidence that he actively attempted to provide material aid to al-Qaeda by planning to detonate
propane-filled trucks along sections of the Trans-Alaskan and transcontinental Pipelines, and blow up the Standard Oil Co. in Perth Amboy, New Jersey and the Williams Refinery in Opal, Wyoming.

The charge (Reynolds so far hasn't been charged with "terrorism", technically speaking):

... Assistant U.S. Attorney John Gurganus testified at REYNOLD’S December hearing that "he [REYNOLDS] was doing it as a plan to disrupt governmental function, to change the government's actions in foreign countries, and to impact on the national debate about the war."

Be certain to read it all for yourself.

The threat of terrorism isn't going away. Rather, it is actually adapting to the Free World's responses to it. The terrorists may be insane, but they're not all that stupid; they have the ability to be flexible and move on to new tactics once old tactics are exposed, understood and blocked. They're always planning and plotting new ways to kill non-Muslims across the world. No country is immune to infection from the plague of terrorism.

In the future, it will become clear that the Free World will have to adapt to the adaptability of the terrorists. This means we'll have to foresee all possibilities and implement security measures to help lessen the chance of successful terror attacks.

One thing we must understand: the terrorists are patient. Murder, after all, of this sort, is premeditated and requires careful planning and working-out of logistics. Financing is also required to carry out plans, and often fundraising takes time. For example, the first attempt to destroy the World Trade Center, though a failure, didn't deter Al Qaeda from trying again... many years later.

So when leftists point out there hasn't been a terrorist attack inside America since 9/11, remember that it's only a matter of when, not if. The left wants to believe, against all common sense and fundamental intelligence, that the threat of terror inside of the continental United States is over. They are dangerously wrong.

Conservative Gov't More Bilingual than Liberal One Was

From NealeNews:

The new Conservative government of Stephen Harper is more bilingual than Paul Martin's Liberal one was.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper's new cabinet reportedly has 15 of 27 ministers who will be able to answer queries in both official languages during question period, compared with 19 of 39 in the previous Liberal one.

So the Conservatives' critics can no longer criticize them on the matters of respect for bilingualism or respect for Quebec. The Cabinet, in fact, has five Quebec ministers.

Paul Martin's cabinet was perhaps as bloated and imbalanced as it was due to his desperate need to have as many of his loyalists as possible in high positions in his caucus. Apparently when it came to appointments to Cabinet, Martin's desire to win the next election trumped the need to have a Cabinet of balance, emphasizing knowledge, competence and representation of the reality of the Federation.

I, for one, am pleased at the balance of Mr. Harper's cabinet. Never mind the couple of inexplicable appointments of last week which have surprised and annoyed many Conservatives, including myself; what we witness here is, one by one, the stereotyping accusations our opponents have always made against us are being put to rest and we are indubitably a better-balanced governing party than the Liberals' ever was.

Granted, it might not be the sort of thing that is a priority in the minds of ordinary voting conservative Canadians, as is accountability (yeah, I know... the two appointments of last week make some have their doubts); fiscal responsibility; serious economic expansion; getting the taxes lower and lower as fast as practicable; paying down the debt; reestablishing Canada's credibility as a serious international player, including improving our relationship with our closest friends the Americans; cleaning up the crime problems the Liberals never cared at all about; rebuilding the Armed Forces, which the Liberals deliberately allowed to crumble to a core of excellent, courageous men and women who had far, far too little in the way of decent equipment to work with, if any, dangerously hampering Canada's ability to defend itself; fixing the health care system with a view to shrinking waiting times and improving access to more services and to higher quality of care than before; and on and on...

The image stuff is easily taken care of. We've got the balance, with members elected in all regions, the demographic diversity, the bilingual abilities, etc. Now begins the long, difficult task of turning around the lazy old diplodocus of the Canadian federation after decades of Liberal neglect and abuse.

So from now on our critics will have to work harder than ever to criticize us. No longer can they credibly point to the superficial and image stuff; they will now have to attack us on substance and policy. Heh-heh... the tables have turned, all ye Librano bums and MSM sensation-and-fluff-pushers.

Vikings Outraged at 'Hagar the Horrible' Cartoons

Geez... who's going to be next to suddenly, after all these years, come out of the "pissed about cartoons" closet?

America Preparing to Preemptively Strike Iran

Above: Iran's missiles, their ranges and some possible preemptive strike points

From the telegraph.co.uk:

In response to the grave threats issued by Iran's Mahmud Ahmadinejad against Israel and the entire "Anglo-Saxon" world...

America is currently preparing logistical plans for possible preemptive missile strikes against Iran should diplomatic efforts fail to deter the malevolent Islamotyrannical republic from developing nuclear weapons technology which could and likely would be used against the Free World.

Such strikes would likely take the form of precision B-52 bombardment backed up by strikes from America's Trident nuclear submarines (with conventional warheads added to their arsenal).

"There is only only one thing worse than the United States exercising a military option and that is a nuclear-armed Iran."

Ahmadinejad Again Threatens Israel, Blames "Zionists" for Cartoon Furor, Tells West to Worship His God

Here we go again. Today, Iran's President, Mahmud Ahmadinejad, has promised Iranians he'll "remove" Israel. He blamed "zionists" for the Muslim uproar over Danish cartoons depicting the prophet Mohammed. Not only that, he also told Western governments to abandon ties to Israel, allow for its removal and to worship Allah. Make sure you read the whole article at the link.

This guy sounds for all the world like Adolf Hitler. From my understanding of history, the Western people didn't think Hitler was a threat; that they didn't have to worry. We know they turned out to be, often literally, dead wrong. Winston Churchill saw the threat in Hitler, told Britain of his concerns, was ridiculed and went on to be Prime Minister following the Nazis' beginning of their attacks on England, leading Europe's fight against the murderous world domination ambitions and monstrous racism and other forms of fatal intolerance fostered by Hitler.

Well, I see the danger posed by Ahmadinejad. Plus, he has many powerful allies in totalitarian nations who would love to get rid of America and the Western World along with it so as to pursue their own goals for the world, whatever they may be, via the extermination of those who aren't like themselves, meaning the Free World. Granted, many of his Axis friends have a hidden agenda, like China, North Korea and Russia, but Iran's aims are very well-expressed. Together, the rapidly-arming and more-closely allying 21st-Century Axis Powers, namely of two idealogies, basically Islamofascism and Communism, are providing a stark contrast to the relatively-demilitarized Western World. After all, how much attention have we paid to our military capabilities since the end of the Cold War? Canada in particular is now actually a sitting duck, unfortunately, but with a new Conservative government in power for the foreseeable future, this will hopefully change. I hope we someday get the nuclear deterrent ourselves.

Ironically, Ahmadinejad also uttered a self-contradicting phrase:

"The era of military force is over, today is the era of nations, logic and worshippers of God,"

I would surmise he was actually talking about how he himself envisions the world after Jihadic Armaggedon. The nations would be Islamic (it's logical; he's on record as wanting all nations to be Islamic), the "logic" would be whatever he deems it to be and "God" is, of course, his god, Allah (he believes there is one god and it's Allah). He's so obviously speaking in code. It would be, even for him, to really mean the word "today", illogical.

Oh, and I guess I'm now in beeeg trouble for putting his mug next to an illustration of Hitler with "Iran" in place of his mustache.

Pancake With Holy Image?

h/t: nealenews.com

They say this "image" which appeared on a pancake looks like Jesus.

Well, I say, what's to keep anyone from suggesting it looks like Mohammed? They both supposedly had beards. So...

Should I now be looking over my shoulder?

Is someone going to get mad because I said a pancake looks like so-and-so?

What a weird world we live in! What next?

"Impure Islam": A Moderate Muslim Speaks Out

Via MidEastTruth:

Moderate Muslim Irshad Manji writes this informative piece.

Be sure to read it all.

In Impure Islam, Ms. Manji adds her own voice to help give us perspective right in the middle of the cartoons-of-Mohammed controversy raging across the world, stemming from a few Danish-sourced political cartoons which sees many Muslims, in out-of-proportion response, spewing barbaric rhetoric and committing many reprehensible acts of violence against many non-Muslim targets and even against other Muslims, already resulting in a few unfortunate deaths. Here's one of many examples of such cartoons (I'm, like, sooooo shaking, eh?):

I'd say that cartoon's fair comment, notwithstanding what the Islamofascists claim. Remember this? And this? And this?

Here's some excerpts from Impure Islam:

Arab elites love such controversies, for they provide convenient opportunities to channel anger away from local injustices. No wonder President Lahoud of Lebanon insisted that his country "cannot accept any insult to any religion." That's rich. Since the late 1970s, the Lebanese government has licensed Hezbollah-run satellite television station al-Manar, among the most viciously anti-Semitic broadcasters on earth.

(...)

...the Koran itself points out that there will always be non-believers, and that it's for Allah, not Muslims, to deal with them. More than that, the Koran says there is "no compulsion in religion." Which suggests that nobody should be forced to treat Islamic norms as sacred.

(...)

When Muslims put the Prophet on a pedestal, we're engaging in idolatry of our own. The point of monotheism is to worship one God, not one of God's emissaries. Which is why humility requires people of faith to mock themselves - and each other - every once in a while.

I await more moderate Muslim voices which may help us understand the truth. How else will we know? We can find a Koran in our language to read for ourselves, but how do we know it's the same Koran being given out as required reading by the Islamic leaders of the world? And what of Muslim radicals who twist the verses so far to suit their own aims as to make them meaningless? I mean, does the Koran really require Muslims to kill anyone who displeases them? Ms. Manji points out that such justice is up to Allah, not to Muslims.

It's up to Muslims, too, in my opinion, to speak the real truth of their religion, lest we come to believe that what the Bin Ladens, the Hamases and the Ahmadinejads of the world, who themselves stand for nothing but pure hatred of non-Muslims and for their annihilation.

If the lies of the Islamic tyrants, oppressors and terrorists such as Ahmadinejad, Bin Laden and Hamas are going to win, the ultimate result will be armaggedon. Remember, they are on record as vowing to wipe out the non-Islamic world, including Muslims who oppose their tyrannical dogmas and objectives.

What is the truth?

Important Info on Iran's War Intentions

Here's some recommended reading. From the Northeast Intelligence Network. Read it all to understand the context of the following excerpts.

Excerpts (all emphasis mine):

Execution of the Iranian War Plan:

Attack the US and the UK with massive waves of suicide bombers. These attacks will be followed by massive use of Iranian missile borne WMD.

(...)

It has been widely published that Hassan Abbasi is on record as saying: "There are 29 sensitive sites in the US and the West. We have already spied on these sites and we know how we are going to attack them... Iran's missiles are now ready to strike Western targets, and as soon as the instructions arrive from Ali Khamenei, we will launch our missiles at their cities and installations."These attacks will come against the US and the UK. In fact, they will target the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Israel because as Abbasi has said these nations "are all the children of the same mother" meaning the United Kingdom.

Notice that Canada is a target of Iranian Jihad. Involving homicide bombers. And "missile borne WMD". And the left is so vehemently opposed to ballistic missile defense? Oh, shit. Shit.

Not only that, I strongly recommend viewing this investigative report on a newly-elected Liberal MP, the one of the reported controversial Islamic supremacst statements following his nomination victory. Imagine if the Liberals had won the election. Imagine if a Jihadist had been on the inside of the Canadian government at a time when the nation is a target of a nuclear Iran with world domination ambitions in the name of religious dogma. What did the Liberals know of this?

That's scary.
Additional musings:
Thoroughly pondering the depth of the religious fanaticism and intent of the Hojjatieh sect of fundamentalist Islam, of which President Ahmadinejad is a total adherent, one can realize that in the minds of the tyrants and oppressors in Iran, the Jihad IS GOING to go ahead. At a time of their choosing.
Unless, of course, there's preemptive military action taken against Iran to seriously hamper its ability to conduct a war. The homicide bombers are a far more difficult challenge, admittedly, but the missile-borne WMDs really must be eliminated where they're being fabricated.
As far as I'm concerned, taking everything into account that I've learned about the intentions of Iran and recalling the lessons of the history of mankind and of armed conflict, this is the approach and assumption we MUST necessarily be taking. I'm quite serious about this. Not only is Iran a terrorist-supporting and -planning state, it is also a war-planning and -capable totalitarian theocracy in which religious dogma is the only consideration of the leadership. There is no reasoning with these folks. They WILL attempt to bring their beliefs to fruition via the "spread of tyranny and oppression", in their own words, describing their beliefs, as it is exactly that which will bring forth their so-called "Messiah".
They have made direct, clear threats against us on the basis of race, religion and geography. Do we want to ignore these threats or take necessary action to prevent their realization? Do we want to repeat the mistakes we made prior to the implementation of Hitler's plans for world domination via deadly destructive force?
We must exercise willing suspension of disbelief.
Can anyone prove that such will not happen again? It's insufficient to cavalierly dismiss the incipient danger, as would "liberals".
